Dear LowEndBox reader,
In a couple of hours from now, noon UTC-5, the Christmas run is going to start for you on LowEndBox. We have nine offers that are going live during that run. The first one from noon to midnight on December 24. On December 25 and December 26, there will be an offer every six hours. So I hope you saved up for the holidays and didn’t spend too much on food: there are servers to be bought!
Christmas is a time to look back. Over the past year, a lot of things have happened at LowEndBox and at LowEndTalk. The ownership of LEB and LET by ColoCrossing became public, Liam left and I took over, and we’ve seen the most bang-for-buck offered ever this year. I’ve also seen an increase in offers and some hosts started offering really LowEndBoxes again, with 32mb annual deals surfacing. We’ve also seen the return of more technical content with the introduction of tutorial, although I have to admit my recent busy schedule has prevented me from writing some. No worries, there will be more soon!
Christmas is also a time to consolidate. There have been some differences this year between various people which introduced some real challenges to LEB and LET. I hope a time comes when we could put those differences past us and look forward together. Because despite any differences, in the end we share a passion for managing servers and more specifically LowEndBoxes. Our focus should be on those, rather than on each other. I hope we can increase that focus on our passion again and make 2014 an even better year than 2013!
Finally, Christmas is a time to say thanks. Thank you for being with us in 2013. Thank you for your continued participation. Thank you for being part of this awesome community!
