I have 4 yearly services with RackNerds.
To be honest, they are not best in terms of CPU/SSD performance but they’ve got the best value for what you pay for.
Have been using DC2 for customers in China. They are not CN2 GIA but the network is still faster than many other providers when it comes to China optimized network. uptime is great. support is fast and helpful.Overall, good job, recommended!

    • Hi kyaky, thank you so much for being an awesome customer and recommending RackNerd! We appreciate the multiple services. Support is another area we focus, we realize customers enjoy helpful and fast support and our mission is to deliver that. This means a lot when customers such as yourself realize we provide this. I will be sharing this with the team.

We also appreciate the honesty, we realize there’s always room for improvement and also understand end users demand different levels of resources; so we’ve introduced Linux AMD Ryzen VPS. Our AMD Ryzen VPS product line are all around a great bang for the buck. Our AMD Ryzen 9 3900x processors deliver power as well as speedy Enterprise Intel NVMe SSDs (amazing performance).

Feel free to reach out at anytime, we’ll be here to help or improve our services anyway we can. Feedback is so important, thank you for helping!

Racknerd is a pretty decent company, I have a vps here for almost coming up 6 mo’s now. I use the vps for hosting some sites of mine and learned a lot of lamp on it. The sites def load faster than they were before on shared hosting.

We’re happy to hear that our services our working out for you, and that you’re happy! Transitioning for shared hosting to VPS can be challenging for some, or very rewarding as you have experienced.

Thank you for the opportunity. We’ll always be here to help.

I’ve been using RackNerd for several years without complaints, the only thing I have, is I’d happily move to a EU datacenter once you open it, since it’s closer to my visitors. Apart from this, the deals are usually nice and support is helpful. CPU and disk performance may be a bit slower but downtime almost never happens, so for this money I’d say it’s awesome. Thanks for your service so far, keep up the good work!

    • Hello dwi, thank you for working with RackNerd! We appreciate the positive feedback.

We’re expanding, and growing very quick, EU will be one of our next stops :) For now we offer VPS in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, San Jose and New Jersey! We will also be provisioning KVM VPS in Ashburn within the next few weeks. We also have Tampa on the roadmap, all of which are pure SSD. We also offer AMD Ryzen 9 3900x with Enterprise Intel NVMe in Los Angeles for those looking for the extra horse power.

Feel free to reach out to discuss expansion – we’re always here, listening and supporting our customers.

Interested in Japan and Singapore expansion.

        October 2, 2020 @ 3:06 am | Reply
        • Hi Di,
We already are working with a provider in Japan privately (unannounced location) for a private client/cluster environment. So this shouldn’t be too hard for us to do, we’ll get there for sure :)

As for Singapore, that’s an awesome location – we haven’t looked much into this particular location yet from a management standpoint.

Appreciate the comment, and support. Many exciting developments :)

I got a 3-core VPS from them back in August, and so far it’s been very robust and reliable. I’m using for simple hobby stuff (LAMP, Docker, noVNC, etc.) and it’s working really well. I’ve had to reinstall the OS a half a dozen times (ain’t learning fun?!?) but never had any issues. It just hums along nicely.

      • Hi Mohamed – we’ve been around since 2019. So while we’re new, our business has seen the year 2019, 2020 and soon to be 2021. I do agree, we’re new, and establishing our brand to be a household name.

That’s always a risk with new companies (I’ve had no less than 3 vps companies close down on me.) But I figure that of you find a company that’s doing well and providing good service, you stick with them. So far, I’m sticking with RackNerd.
