ReliableVPS is being featured here for the first time, with a VPS offer with 1 CPU, 2GB RAM and 40GB SSD 2TB@1Gbps in the heart of NYC’s financial district.
They appear to be a newer company, but from what we can see they were established quickly and they do have competitive pricing on VPS solutions.
Their WHOIS is public. They accept Paypal, Credit card and Bitpay. You can find their ToS/Legal Docs here.
As always, if you decide to order, we would love to hear your feedback in the comments section!
Here’s what they had to say about themselves:
“We are a team of datacenter and system engineers located in the NYC metro area. We decided to open up this company because we found an option to offer competitive pricing on cloud solutions in the NYC area.
We own and operate our hardware to ensure the best Hardware reliability level, All hardware used are Enterprise class and 100% owned by us, our main upstream providers are FDCservers and Cogent because of their massive backbone capacity and DC locations.”
Here’s the offer:

What particular CPU models are in use? E5-2600 isn’t an actual model, just the start of a series of CPUs — and there are 4 different versions/releases of those too.
Since you have 2x 10G uplinks, which are no doubt unmetered with FDC Servers, why limit each VPS to just 1G and a measly 1TB of transfer?
Hello,
For security reasons we keep our hardware and software setup details private to us and to our customers, if you are interested in our service please submit a ticket to our sales department and they would be more than happy to assist you.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Can you please explain exactly what security concern is it to reveal your CPU specs? Not answering cu_olly’s question would have been a lot better than this completely ridiculous answer!
I purchased a month last night and now their server and entire website is down for almost 12 hours.
Not a good start. Thinking about doing a chargeback, even though it’s only a month.
Mike, we have refunded your payment and will keep your service active till the end of your billing month free.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I was going to email you asking what the refund was for. That is definitely a +1 for good professional reaction.
Although I decided to setup my main services on a different host in the 12 hours you were down, I do still have something I can run on yours for the next 30 days. I’ll give it another month to see how it plays out. I could use an extra server for some things for sure.
What the fuck??? I bought a month’s subscription and I cannot connect. I cannot even get onto their site!
See their reply to my comment above yours. This may have been a one-time problem they’re not responsible for. Hopefully you got a refund for your first month like I did.
Jason, Please open a support a ticket and we would be more than happy to assist you.
Hey did this place die already? I just noticed my backups for this VPS haven’t succeeded in 10 days, the control panel fails to start/stop my vps, and the chatbox widget on their website isn’t responding.
have you submitted a ticket by any chance @Mike ?
