Joe from SecureDragon emailed us to announce new prices for their OpenVZ packages. I am highlighting the ultra lowend $10.99/year OpenVZ VPS. No coupon code required.

This is not the first time SecureDragon has been featured here. Joe is also active on LET and goes by the nick @KuJoe. You can also find many solid reviews of users using his services on LowEndTalk.

I have two VPS from them for my VPN servers (PPTP & OpenVPN) and it work very good
Hi.. what tutorial work to install a pptp in securedragon?
Thanks :D
Here you go: https://my.securedragon.net/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=70
I used to have two, but not anymore..
why not anymore? does your ellipsis indicate some sort of dissatisfaction?
My only production site is hosted with SD. Very stable =)
But what can you possible do with 32 megs of ram?
Here’s some examples: http://securedragon.net/vpsusage.php
The most common use if VPN, IRC, and DNS but we do have some people running a lot of custom scripts and webservers. Personally, I run PPTP, ZNC, and Lighttpd on mine.
Not doubting you, but what packages are used for this 96MB remote desktop lol.
Here’s a tutorial I wrote up that was designed around our O96 plan:

Been waiting for some of these great yearly deals
Oh how you tempt me Joe……
Definitely my favorite VPS on the east coast of the US. KuJoe is a great guy, and i’m quite confident SD will keep growing in LEB market. I have 2 vps (one Xen and one OVZ) for more than one year and every time a problem arose KuJoe was prompt to fix it and honest to tell the exact matter.
Fraud check was handled quickly and professionally. VPS was provisioned immediately – thanks Joe!
In the era of dirty cheap RAM, does it make sense to offer 32 MB? I wonder…
It’s just matter of choice and that’s good. Only few bucks more yearly and you can have package with more memory. Isn’t that great? :)
We offer it by request and we wouldn’t continue offering it if it didn’t sell so good. ;)
Fraud check was instantly resolved (Google Maps doesn’t have my correct address) and VPS was provisioned instantly after approval. OS re-installation with O128 plan to Debian 6 x64 through SolusVM took only few minutes. TUN/TAP and PPP enabler through SolusVM and installation of PPTPD worked great. Network connectivity and I/O are reasonable.
Only minor drawback is the lack of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS OpenVZ templates.
I know this deal was a month ago, but I had just ordered O128 OpenVZ VPS and there is a coupon on their website “20all” making it only 14.39/year which is awesome for me to test and learn about vpn with these vps account
