Josh from ServerCheap.NET is back with a new exclusive offer for Low End Box readers! This is the third time ServerCheap has been posted on Low End Box, the first time was in October 2016 and then again in January 2018. Hello Josh,
i’ve checked your offer and i’ve seen that the LEB3 show a wrong information in the order summary. It shows 2 CPU cores instead of 4 (http://prntscr.com/rsz61w).
Have a good day!
Thank you very much for spotting this. No matter how hard you try to proofread something, something always slips through…
Hi Josh,
I noticed that on your website, the LA DC has CN2/CU/CM connection.
But the test IP (LA looking glass) does not show any optimisation.
Can you advise if you support those connections (maybe with extra cost).
Thanks.
Hi,
so these offers are in our Chicago DC, not in LA.
In regards to your specific question, I would need to look at the traceroute/mtr to give you a better answer, if you can email us at support@servercheap.net with subject “LA CN2/CU/CM question” and a trace/mtr you are doing, I’ll be happy to respond there.
Do you have any offers in Los Angeles?
Not at the moment unfortunately
I placed a $2 order for a 1 GB VPS and 1 minute after receiving order confirmation, my money was refunded and my IP address was banned from accessing the website with this message:
https://servercheap.net/crm/banned.php
Hi,
this happens if you provide fake information during sign up and/or use proxy or vpn.
that is some bs. you just took my money and banned me and im not using any proxy or vpn or any fake information. im on bloody comcast ISP living in INDIANA you know the state right next to ILLINOIS where CHICAGO is located? so explain that to me?
really sounding like a scam artist company.

Hi, we are unable to accept orders from your country at this time, sorry about that.
Good that you are blocking some countries like China. If the expats need to sign up, they can use their home country connection or ask a family member to sign up for them.
I had servercheap for about 6 months. The servers were very nice and the ping was great. I had it in 2018 for 4.50$ a month for 4/4. It was a great deal. For 7.99 I don’t know but their support staff and service was really great!
Thank you for the kind words. We really appreciate it and we are happy you were satisfied.
I think that was for an OpenVZ at that price though right? I bought the cheapest OpenVZ server they had at the last promotion. All went great for the 2 years but the server started acting up. I’ve since switched to their KVM ones (like the ones offered here) and it’s been a lot better (feels a lot more reliable) – and much more updated linux kernel. The service has been great so far. There’s only really been one major down time for 20 minutes that I can remember. But, they quickly answered my ticket and notified me of the situation.
You are right, KVM is much more reliable. We have actually completely stopped offering openvz. My personal opinion is nobody should be using openvz in 2020..
Yes, I also had my IP address banned immediately upon signup. They charged my card, then banned me. Support website refuses connections on basis of ban as well. Was able to find support email address which is support at the domain name. Awaiting a response.
I believe your issue was resolved already.
this site is full scam , i paid for one vps and i didn’t receive it
here you have the proof

I’ve had servers with them for close to 4 years now. service has been solid!
Support is excellent. not sure what your issue was, but it is a stretch to call them a scam.
Post your “proof” here. We don’t have to visit an outside link.
Hey Josh ? I recently got an 8GB VPS from you guys and after I logged in, it showed me ” IP Banned reason: due to orders”
can you please assist me with this one ?
Do NOT use ServerCheap. Their network is extremely congested as they seem to be overselling. This is not the worst part though, the worst part is that they offer no money-back guarantee. I contacted their support less than an hour after placing the order to have the instance canceled and be issued a full refund, they ended up canceling the instance and rejecting my refiund request!
I am escalating this issue with PayPal and if I don’t get my money back I’ll consider it a small fee for a lesson learned. From now, any hosting service with no money-back guarantee is a sketchy one and should be avoided regardless of what good promotions they have. It is a trap!
Your IP 185.10.xx.xxx has been banned
Ban Reason: Banned due to Orders
Banned right after I bought a server, nice scam!
Paid for a server, but then immediately
Your IP 94.198.132.xxx has been banned
Ban Reason: Banned due to Orders
cool scam
And no, this is not a VPN/Proxy address.
Paid a VPS, and got banned. Ban Reason: Banned due to Orders
I talked to customer service, they just throw me out of the chat with no reason why my IP get banned.
Lol, wasting my 2 hours. I feel it is a scam.
