  4. This is “SpeedMax”, but when I try to test ping, it runs slowly!!! 370 while usually 270.

    • Hi,

I’m sorry, this is my mistake. 370 is ok if it comes from France. Suggest around 350 is better.

you do realize that ping depends on where you’re located, right? lemme guess, you’re Asian? I don’t really think that your ping would be reflective of speedmax. Instead, it would most likely be a display of how badly Asia routes to the rest of the world. Do mtr –report to the test ip and you’ll see.

Hi all, I’m Dan from SpeedMax.
First off to explain the delay John and others are experiencing.
Due to the holiday in the US, most of SpeedMax’s staff was given the day off, so I’ve been trying to get everyone setup as fast as I can. There’s also a storm rolling through the area, causing some delay. I know this delay kinda sucks, but I hope you guys will find the quality of service after today to be good.
@Nguyen: where are you pinging the server from?

That was harsh- giving out deals, and managing an infra has consequences. Mostly people say thanks for trying, so on *his* behalf- I’ll say Thanks for trying ;)

  6. I checked the stock within an hour or so of this being posted and it was quite low then so I suspect they will update the stock levels soon, if not I think maybe a “stock check” should be a requirements for posting offers as I am sure that LEB does not want to be posting offers limited to e.g. 10 purchases?

The only exception I can think of was a company offering fibre channel SAN based VMware servers which was limited to 30

We will be bringing up a new node in the UK soon, and refilling stock then. We also have the US node coming up soon as well.
The LEB offer is available indefinitely as well.

We do have a limited supply of UK VPSes due to some cancellations, and stock number miscalculations, and we do have a large supply of US VPSes ready to go. I will be putting both of these on the website Thursday or Friday, so keep checking the website.
We are also setting up the other UK node as well, so we’ll be well stocked soon.

Just added 2 more to stock. Should have another 1-2 available in the next day or two.
We had some minor setbacks that delayed the launch of our new nodes, But they’re coming.

As stated, the coupon for UK also works on US.
We’re starting with a slightly limited stock to make sure our new automated provisioning works exactly as desired.

      Hi,
Apparently you had a bad experience after ordering a UK VPS, and I believe you were in Mexico? You would have gotten better connectivity to a US VPS. Anyway, good luck with your next provider.

We’ve dropped the KVM128 plan in UK to make room for our newly priced KVM256 plan. Now the 256 plan in UK is only 3.50USD per month, and we have plenty of stock to go around. The LEB10 coupon is still valid, and our setup within 24 hours is still there. :)
