There is an SSL, the link just does not include https://

Add that in front of it for SSL.

We verify all orders manually. As I’m sure you’re aware there is a lot of fraud in web hosting. Especially for VPS/Dedi accounts.

I inadvertently placed an order through one of my servers rather than my home IP, and was denied for geographical inconsistency. They did email me to ask about it, but the window between email and order cancellation was two minutes.

I explained the situation to them, offering to re-order from my home IP and include a photo of my ID and credit card. Their response was that they didn’t want my type of customer.

It’s unclear what type of customer they meant by that, but I can only assume they’re not particularly privacy-friendly.

This is so stupid-cheap I’d feel like an ignoramus if I didn’t get one. Cheers, Josh.

  16. I have to say this was one of the worst services I have ever used. They have a complete lack of communication. They set up my VPS incorrectly and have not responded to any of the tickets I have sent requesting a fix. They claim that you can choose from either KVM or OpenVZ on their website however there is no option anywhere in their control panel or during the ordering process to choose it. Once I had ordered, they simply set it up as OpenVZ. They also claim that they deploy “within 30 seconds” however mine took the better part of an hour.

  17. I’ve just started using their service, let’s see how it goes.
