Tags: , , Date/Time: October 11, 2010 @ 4:58 am, by LowEndAdmin

123Systems Andrew from 123Systems sent me a link to their latest offers on servers with HostDime in Orlando FL. Use promo code LEB35 to get 35% off recurring discount on monthly packages, or promo code LEBFL45 to get 45% off recurring discount when you pay yearly. So the cheapest VPS package starts at $4.52/month, or $46.12/year ($3.84/month).

  • 256MB guaranteed/512MB burstable memory
  • 10GB storage
  • 500GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

Here’s extra promotion passed on by Andrew for LowEndBox readers:

If your readers choose either promo code below and mention ‘LEB Rocks’ in the Notes/Comments field during checkout they will receive an additional 250GB Of Bandwidth (Free for life) or 2x Their Dedicated RAM For EX: 256/512 would be 512/512. (123Systems randomly chooses which addon the client receives, Kind of like drawing a name from a hat, But for free addons i don’t think you can complain about which one you get!)

Please note to your users that the addons are not instantly setup with the server and it can take up to 24 hours for the addons to be set for the client.

Servers come with gigabit links.

  1. “Servers come with Gigabite links.” — I think you mean Gigabyte :-)

    • Hehe. The mosquito is in rampage here and I did take a few bites over the weekend. Sorry about the typo and it’s fixed now :)

      • Are you sure it is gigabyte not gigabit?

        • KLIKLI:

The largest mistake LEA has made ever – I don’t really think they have 10Gbit connection with every server :p

    • Actually I’m still trying to figure that out. Maybe you mean uplinks as in their connection to the net?

I wonder why existing users get sent a email with 45% one-off discount only, instead of recurring discount. One of the reason stopped me from ordering one before.

Also I would like to ask a question, does “2x Their Dedicated RAM” includes the one-time addon? Say if I add another “512MB Dedicated RAM – ($27.95 USD One Time)” would I get (512+256)x2?

    @Andrew

Do you have a time frame for server upgrade / maintanance / reboots etc? Thanks.

    • Only if the issues are not listed as ‘critical’ if the issues are issues that need to be resolved ASAP then you are only given at most an hour time frame in advance (EG: kernel exploits/etc)

Other than that we give clients atleast an 12-24 hour time frame

Thank you Andrew, it’s already been progressing for you though I am not totally satisfied. I think you need to make it clear to your customers very clearly. For me bottom line is 24 hours for timing problem.

    • Hi,

LR was supported a few months back, The gateway simply had no functionality to do anything with the funds inside your LR account so in the end we had no choice but to remove the gateway as it was more frustration than needed.
