AlphaHostPlus Via this WHT offer. AlphaHostPlus is a hosting company from San Marino, according to its WHOIS info. Seriously, my geography is so bad that I have no idea where San Marino is when I looked up. It does have some seriously cheap virtual server packages though. For 2.85 EUR/month (~$3.53 USD at the moment) you can get this low end box:

  • 96MB guaranteed/192MB burstable memory
  • 3GB storage
  • 50GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

Servers are in Germany. Domain has been registered since September 2009 so the company is still considered “new”.

The original owner of LowEndBox known as "LowEndAdmin" or "LEA" for short founded LowEndBox in 2008 and created the concept of hosting applications on low resource "Low End Boxes". After creating the roots of the community that we know today, "LEA" stepped aside and allowed others to carry the torch forward.

Out of curiosity, what do you consider not-so-new? 1 year+?

    Just curious :P
