I dunno, something isn’t giving me a good vibe about this host. The TOS is quite strange like Spirit mentioned (sounds like a summer host set up just for LEB), less than one month old, and so on.

I like to look into hosts before I risk giving them any money and I’ve found inconsistencies that worry me. I found a large quantity of domains registered to the same email address, some of which seem to have been TLD variants of other websites. I noticed Jarvis mentioned something about other hosts and proxy sites, but some of what I found seems to verify exactly what he said, in which you denied. Various websites dealing with proxy services were registered to the same email address, some which were using nameservers for DailyProxy which also seemed to be registered to you. Amongst this were a bunch of other hosting sites as well, one that was still up which is completehost.co.nz . The last thing that worries me is that a chunk of the domains seem to use an address located in the UK, as apposed to your New Zealand location. This can all be verified by Googling the email address provided in the WHOIS results for your domain. A lot of the domains have expired since, but most of them are still cached.

very impressed with your digging.
CompleteHost is the New Zealand business I run with a number of investors, its a successful, mostly shared hosting business, however the New Zealand market is small so it made sense to branch out.
Also running a vps hosting business in New Zealand can be expensive, so its a much more attractive option with a bigger market like the USA.
Indeed I use to dabble in proxies when I was living in the UK, however as you said most of those domains are expired now as its not something I have anything to do with anymore.
Of course you found the UK addresses as that was where I was living.
Hope this makes people feel abit better, CompleteHost has alot of happy customers so I would like to think its a good example of the kind of business I now am involved with and shows the long term plans I have for Azzavps.com

Cybercon datacenter is in St. Louis, Missouri. I don’t think it in Chicago.
FYI, the IP address I was assigned shows up in several GeoIP databases as being in Ottawa, Canada.
That’s not a problem for me, though it makes the geography even more puzzling.
Geo-IP is inaccurate. It reads off Geo-IP databases, such as Maxmind, ip2location, etc. Hosts can submit a correction if required but might not fix the issue completely. It also reads off SWIP data from ARIN and often that gets set to where the company is located.

Probably something to do with the “Unlimited” bandwidth, loads of heavy network using vps users no doubt. Such a silly offer on a 100mbps.

this Damien person has not given any proof that he created the image at all, the fact that its mostly taken from other compaines logo’s anyway.
Ive remove the image pending our own investigation into who the rightful owner of the image is.
I claim ownership because it is an original work I created personally in photoshop. We have another image that is closely like the other, but for our KVM services – same font colour and font type.

The image has a unique composition of font colour, font type, wording and placement of both logos. Why does that unique shade of orange just happen to appear on your website when it is the only orange on there? Your colours are light blue and white. That shade of orange is used in our company logo.

So these ‘attacks’ are not only taking down their site, but taking the LEB nodes offline as well? Well, that’s enough for me to cross this host off of my list of possible choices. Two attacks within a 3 day period is enough to raise a flag in my books, especially if the attack is taking everything down at once making it where clients cannot even submit support requests. I do not feel you were in the wrong for mentioning this here either, as it’s evident this was your only choice and letting other people know something is wrong isn’t abuse so I feel Aaron should apologize to you. Thank you for comments on this host by the way Steven, you saved me from making the same mistake.
Your welcome, I hope you find the right host soon. I also wanted to note that I submitted a ticket about an SSL cert on the billing panel as well on the solusvm and the ticket was pretty much just ignored, I know this because it was closed with no response.
Well your wrong, as was I, the attack was sufficient to cause a major issue with the upstream provider.
This is a nature of cheaper vps sometimes, they attach people that sometimes use them for purposes that can attract these sorts of attacks.

The time on their node is 8 hours off (ahead) and even a week after they closed my support ticket they didn’t fix it. I can change the timezone on the VM, but no matter which one I choose the time is always 8 hours in the future since OpenVZ depends on the time settings of the node.
In my opinion this is a major issue since mails sent from the VM might be considered as spam by the receiving mailserver, clients might show certificate/security warning when using a SSL/TLS connection and a wrong timestamp is simply confusing when debugging problems…

Got a server with these for DNS, seems good so far
This service is terrible. I have had the service for a month now and it’s been down for almost a week of that time. I have submitted tickets and it takes like 3 or 4 days to get a response, if I get a response at all. Save yourself some time and don’t use this service.
Literally the worst host I have ever used. My VPS has been “Pending” for 5 days now. I have opened multiple support tickets with no response in those 5 days. They even closed my original support ticket saying I had not replied to it in a required amount of time. I have absolutely not idea what is going on with those people and I am starting to worry about their mental health and or physical health. Take warning.
