I don’t understand why it’s called big scoots when Scott and Justin look skinny and the scooter looks small.

Excellent support, very quick fixes. It does appear though that my VPS is in a /24 that is assigned to some other company (certainly the reverse is delegated to someone else’s non-answering DNS servers): 74.117.237.0/24 it makes a lot of things that do reverse lookup’s before talking a tad slow.

I can see you’re already on top of it (whois has been updated with new NS’s and we’re now waiting on propagation).

  6. Matt:

I tried one of their 128MB plans a while ago. The performance is really good, one of the best in this size range. Here is mpstat and cat /proc/cpu/info:

I picked up another one of their plans, the 512MB, and my first impression is also really good. Plus support is friendly and fast.

  8. I’m interested in what they’re offering, but their order form isn’t working for me in Chrome or Firefox.

    May 15, 2011 @ 4:14 am | Reply
    • Confirmed in Firefox 4.01 on Winblows Vista. Can’t select the checkboxes.

Buck, may be a better idea to drop them an email pointing that out to them.

      May 15, 2011 @ 12:09 pm | Reply
    • Sorry for the confusion guys. We are still tinkering with our ordering system but as far as I can tell there is no currently active bug on firefox or chrome.

On the initial order page you will be unable to select a radio button until you input your domain. You of course do not have to register a domain but it is part of the order process so we can link your VPS to it properly.

Please feel free to e-mail me directly if you have any further issues and I will sort you out right away!

      • Figured it out though. They have step 1 and 2 of the registration on the same page. You have to click on the search button first to get the checkboxes to be active.

There’s nothing on the page to suggest that you have to do each half separately. Very confusing.

On the initial order page you will be unable to select a radio button until you input your domain and then search for it.

        Fixed.

        • Sorry :S — Quite right. As said, still tinkering with the ordering system but hopefully with any luck this will due until we can roll out our new system in a couple weeks.

Please e-mail me directly if you have any further questions.

          All the best!
