I’ve been very happy with my linux openvz VM from ChicagoVPS; the only downside is lack of IPv6.
I am very happy to hear about your positive experience and I am sorry to say that IPv6 is still “coming soon™”.
Are these prices permanent with the account or are they only available for the first year?
They are permanent for the life of the service.
I’ve had two chicago vps servers for about 4 years now. They seem to have gotten better regarding random downtime. I use a third, smaller vps from another company as a load balancer to switch between the two if either go down. For $60/3yr for each (from a cyber monday deal years ago), they’ve been a great value.
We are glad to hear things are going well for you over the years and we appreciate your loyalty!
Excellent VPS uptime from Chicago VPS. Its like a dedicated! I have one from 8 cpu / 4gb deal.
We are really happy to hear this!
Are there any OpenVZ 7 instances available. If not do you need to remove systemd manually if I choose Debian 8/ Ubuntu 16.04. I looked at kvm but it was only available in buffalo and there weren’t templates available for Debian 8/9 or Ubuntu 16.04/17.10. Which are the choices I was hoping to use.
Please pop in a ticket after ordered and we can upload any ISO/KVM template for you to use.
Out of stock? already? Was in the middle of paypal checkout. system kicked me out. then when i go back in, sayz out of stock…

Of course, just pop in a ticket to support :)
What type of CPU is there on VCPU’s? What type of single core performance should I expect?
We have it currently set to the SolusVM defaults and don’t seem to have any issues.
If you encounter any performance issues with the CPU simply pop in a ticket and I will gladly assist ya :)
How to choose location Los Angeles with 4GB KVM Windows VPS? I can’t see
