I bit and tried the 12.99/yr one.
Not impressed so far.
Image was 12.0 Debian, so quite a few updates to latest minor 12.8.
Network speeds are about 10Mbit, not really that useful for much.

The replies of tickets are very quick. The machine configuration is also good. You can buy unlimited traffic in Los Angeles at this price.
