LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

Cinfu.com - $5.37 256MB OpenVZ VPS in Germany

Cinfu Via this WHT offer. Cinfu.com is another hosting provider selling low end/cheap VPS starting at $5.37/month for their “VPS1” plan. Direct sign up link here.

  • 256MB memory
  • 40GB storage
  • 100Mbps unmetered bandwidth
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

Servers with Hetzner in Germany (test IP: 78.47.86.3). For “stability reason” they do not offer burstable memory — so to guarantee that you will never be able to use your 256MB of memory. At least the bandwidth allowance here is more sensible than the previous guy — only at 100Mbps unmetered. You also get a one time discount using promo code 50off to get 50% off of your first invoice, probably in an attempt to get you to pay annually or triennially (!!)

Domain itself was registered in February this year by Closco Ltd in Seychelles, which also had its domain registered in Feb.

100Mbps unmetered still doesn’t make sense with that price :)

    June 16, 2011 @ 5:42 am | Reply
    • Nope. It’s up to 100Mbps, unmetered. Heavily depending on who your VPS neighbours are, and how much the entire node has been using that month relating to Hetzner’s throttling.

What are your feeling towards companies registered in “tax(-free) heaven”?

    June 16, 2011 @ 6:23 am | Reply
    • Like Google and its double Irish Dutch sandwich? :P No feeling for them, except kicking myself for paying way too much tax.

    • I knew the country name sounded familiar. The current “owner” of the Pirate Bay is based out of Seychelles.

        Shady business and possible scam.

They accept all kind of payments like bitcoin and bank transfer and the company is registered in Seychelles where no one can get any information about who owns the business.

Accepting bank transfers is not a bad thing at all – in some countries this is the most common method for payments between companies.

        • I pay a lot of my bills via bank transfers. That’s mostly because the amounts involved won;t fit onto an AMEX.

*sigh* And I could have had all those frequent flyer points….

@rds100, maybe he means sending money to a Seychelles bank that is shady.
Sending money locally is completely fine, where I live we don’t use PayPal at all (besides some hosting companies) otherwise all e-com accept only bank transfers.

Its old offer I know, but for users like me who surf back through the offers ^_^

I brought a VPS from Cinfu, luckily, He check out the company I’d put in as I signed up.
Shortly after I’d paid for the order, I received a ticket about no Public proxies(VPN’s) were permitted
He kindly refunded me on the spot. Given its my bad for not reading the ToS, Very pleased with the manner and speedy replies.

    Thanks Cinfu ^_^

Fishy Host, they will suspend your account and accuse you of port scanning when you are actually using OpenVPN and NOT doing any port scanning.
I don’t recommend them to anyone who doesn’t want to lose his money.
