LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

CloudServer Rounds Off CyberMonday: 8GB KVM VPS for $10/mo in LA/CHI/BUF!

Welcome, CloudServer!  They’re a new company and they are debuting on LEB with a great offer.

You can get an 8GB RAM, 4 vcpu KVM with 5TB of bandwidth for only $10/mo!  Wow.  Or give 5GB of RAM for $4.50/mo.

These systems are available in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Buffalo.

Brandon from CloudServer contacted us to submit this offer, and here’s what he had to say:

“My name is Brandon, and I am happy to present CloudServer as a high-performance VPS company at budget pricing. I have been in the tech industry for 8 years as a Linux systems administrator for a local managed service provider. Having dealt with virtualized environments daily I decided I would start my own company and really focus on what I love and interact with people that have the same interests and love for the industry as I do.

I understand there are a lot of options when it comes to linux VPS services, and I do acknowledge that I will never be the next Digital Ocean, however, CloudServer will provide a top notch service at a competitive price. As a pure virtualization enthusiast, I will make sure the services we provide will exceed all expectations and continue to grow the products and services.

We look forward to having the opportunity to server the LowEndBox community and become a valued member! Thank you and we appreciate your new business!”

Their WHOIS is public. You can find their TOS on their website and you can pay with PayPal or Credit Card.

Let’s welcome CloudServer and if you decide to give them a try, be sure to comment below and let the LEB community know how it goes!

    • Naveen,

Thank you for giving us a try and I apologize you are having trouble with our services.

We are looking into this now why you are not able to connect.

As far as Florida, we do not have physical servers in Florida, the IP geolocation must have been set to Florida from the previous person that used it at our data center provider. We have requested to have this changed to the correct location for you. If you do a trace route you will see this server is in the correct location.

      Thank you once again.

How many customers are you putting on each node?

    December 3, 2020 @ 10:47 am | Reply
    • Hello,

This really depends on the host node, some have more ram and storage than others. Typically there will be 30-32 customers per node. These are dedicated resource VPS so there is no overselling of RAM/Storage.

Just be aware that the server is not instantly activated. Also, there’s almost no support team answering the tickets.

    • Lucas,

Thank you for giving Cloudserver a go, I took a look at your account and saw you opened a ticket asking about account activation and 3 minutes later self closed because the VM was setup. We do indeed have instant activation, the OS just needs to be installed.

We also do have a great support team, however your support ticket was in regards to billing who only work during business hours and had bad timing with your issue due to an unforeseen medical absence. Hopefully your experience has improved since then!

Created an account and bought a server 2gb Variant.
Doesn’t work in the first few days.
try to log in after a few days and apparently, the logins are incorrect. weird since I created a password just for that and is the one I used to log in with a day ago.
    Reset password doesn’t work.
Contact Option has a captcha which when you try to fill and send them a contact, surprise the captcha is incorrect.
because the captcha is stationary as well and doesn’t change.
I’m just gonna wonder if this is an elaborate fraud.

    • Chris,

Sorry to hear you are having a few issues, I can assure you we are certainly no fraud.

We have opened a ticket on your account to get to the bottom of these issues for you. This is the first time we have seen complaints about a password not working or a VM not working after install. We look forward to cleaning this up for you.
