I was talking with Skylar from Crissic solutions on Skype the other day. He mentioned that Crissic is celebrating their one-year anniversary on April 26th. Let’s all wish him a Happy Anniversary!
Not long ago Crissic re-launched KVM, which runs on the same type of hardware as their OpenVZ nodes and hosted at GoRack in Jacksonville, Florida. Here are three KVM package you will probably find interesting. OpenVZ deals are further down, this time with doubled disk space.
Offer Update! I was notified this weekend that the offers no longer has 2 IPv4, only 1 is included upon delivery. If you need a second IP you have to order it as an addon from now on.

Crissic has been featured three times before, once during the Christmas specials and twice before that.
Still being in their first year of business Crissic has accomplished more than many other providers. Own network AS62639 and owns all hardware. Later in April, Crissic will celebrate their anniversary by launching their own 10G network directly with Atrato. Although the hardware is in Jacksonville, Florida, Crissic is based in Springfield, Missouri. Here are the OpenVZ offers (with doubled disk space) and below are the TOS/AUP information and network test listed.
OpenVZ 512MB
| OpenVZ 1024MB
| OpenVZ 2048MB
|
Quick AUP – IRC, Bittorrent, TOR, P2P, warez, spamming, or anything illegal in the state of Florida or illegal within the United States of America is not allowed. PRIVATE proxies are allowed. Runescape bots and gameservers are NOT allowed. Personal IRC Bouncers are Permitted. Full TOS is available here and AUP here.
Request up to 200 individual native IPv6s with reverse DNS included by submitting a support ticket.

for KVM, do you have RouterOS images?
can i use my own iso ?
If we are missing ISO’s that people want, they can request it with a wgettable URL and we will gladly add it :)
i don’t mean a template image.
I want to upload bootable intallation iso and install operating system.
Is that possible?
We’d have to upload it and add it but yes.
i love Crissic.. <3
Great support, hardware and stability..
Highly recomended!
Are there discounts on such offers!
Mikho’s “still being in their first year of business Crissic has accomplished more than many other providers” skype friend praising post is innacurate. Crisis’s aren’t in business one year, they deadpooled twice before that. It’s everything at WHT.
I am not denying that Crisis is doing well this third time and I wish them all good, but do your homework about Skylar and his past and try to be truthful to readers in your praise review. Thousands people read LEB!
Our past is no secret. There’s a reason we are operating under our original name instead of hiding behind lies and deceit. We’ll be in business for 1 year (with what I call Crissic v2) on the 26th of April. Feel free to read through our history, but I would like to advise you to also familiarize yourself with our existing business, and how our existing customers find our services. I’ve learned quite a lot from past mistakes, and am not afraid to admit to such :)
Everybody make mistakes in there life i myself made a lot of mistakes in my life. But the better people are those who learn from there mistake and set an example and SkylarM is one of them.Best of luck SkylarM.
I have been using them from over 2 months now. I got a uptime of 97% (After their recent long down time) Apart from that i m happy.
However i have observed, 5-10 min downtime couple of times. I which that could be improved (or Scheduled)
If you want the history you can look at the previous posts on LEB that I linked toin the post.
I’m sorry if you had problems with them before, that is nothing I can change.
Skylar is definitely a good guy.
I talk to him all the time and he’s always telling me about stuff he’s upgrading for the business. He invests his money back into the business for upgrades and expansion. He takes care of his customers the best that he can and it seems like he never sleeps :)
> dead:beef
Interesting.
Yeah, Skylar gived me that IP too :)
It’s nice to have it :D
Any discounts on quarterly/yearly payments on the KVM plans?
No discounts at this time, however if you grab a yearly and open a ticket I can toss in a free 1 year PositiveSSL certificate (single domain)
I’ve ordered 2 of the OV 512Mb packages today (one for a client and one for me). Very good service and good speeds in UK/Ireland.
Ticket answered within a few mins. Best support I’ve had for a long time!
I assume the double disk promotion won’t be applicable to users already having that $15 package with 50GB disk space?
Drop us a ticket and I can update your account because you asked :)
Awesome! Upgraded already, before I could even reply to your comment with ticket number :P
May I also request the same? ;)
Crissic is best support ever….good job guys – I hope can and will join with u next years :)
Appreciate the kind words!
Have a 2$ VPS, works great for what I need, if it will die next month I wouldn’t even notice.
Funny i was reinstalling my server (in Crissic) and found this promo in LEB, the doble space for the same amount looked amazing so i bought a new one :P
I used crissic for 3-4 months and did’t have any problem, the support… uhm i didn’t need it so i can’t say anything about it, that sayed i think is a good thing.
I also found that this new VPS is much faster than the old one, what is a good thing :) maybe i will keep the new one :D
Give them a try they worth it!
I use Crissic Solutions some time. While the test purposes only. I have never found the VPS inaccessible. It seems to me uptime 120 % :)). It is fine work. Now I am quite ready to place here and the basic sites.
Skylar, thank you very much for granting of a double disk on my account. I certainly am not modest… :))
Cpu is dedicated or shared. how much cpu can i use it? do i get suspend in 100% cpu use ?
Shared CPU. Typically anything over 90% of a single core for 24/7 use is considered abusive.
can do you offer windows license? can i use unlicensed windows ?
We do not sell windows licenses.
Is this a dedicated upload link thats 1Gbit or shared?
Server ports are 1gbit, so it’s shared between all VPS on the node.
i was one customer who got suspended without notice for nothing numerous times so moved to weloveservers not looked back since the way the owner talks its clear it will happen again
and trust me compared to other vps places there vps sucks
I have a vps from Crissic, I can say,is a fast server, and very cheap! I can recommend it!
These guys are just amazing. Really! SkylarM and WebSearchingPro are always ready to help in any way possible, and make sure to follow up all issues promptly! Their network runs perfectly for me, and I managed to get 800Mbps UP on my last speed test!
I have used their OpenVZ VPS’s for quite a while now, and they are definitely worth it! Got my entire business running on the VPS’s, and when there is an issue, it is sorted out within minutes of the report.
Well done guys! Although I don’t know much about Skylar’s history, my interactions with him have proved that he has moved past it – and the current services offered are world class.
I will always recommend you guys! Keep doing what you do well – and you’ll be appreciated by everybody.

yep, i add my voice as another pleased customer with a fast support and generous staff. Thank allah then my last support came from donald L.

have to add another comment: support is blazing fast, even at this time… it’s been only minutes to got FUSE enabled and acquire some additional diskspace at very fair costs! (esp. Thx to Donald! ;-))
We will see how crissic performs on endurance, but as far as I made first impressions by now, this mabey truly one of the best around ;-)
Crissic is very recommended! My new upgraded vps is fast

I just purchased one of these machines. Instant access, very snappy, very happy so far.
Thanks again, LEB. Whenever I need a cheap host for some little things I can always count on you.
Any chance of upgrading 50gig storage to 150 or 200, obviously more cost involved but how much?
Sorry that was for the kvm1024 special…
believe we spoke about this over IRC last night. Custom packages aren’t entirely possible, but we can merge multiples together.
I used Crissic based om a previous LEB offer. I had a small sign up issue that was quickly resolved. One of the processes on my server went crazy and Skylar killed it. A quick support ticket solved everything. I recommend Crissic and will be ordering again as soon as I post this.
Just ordered OpenVZ 512MB yearly what a bargain thanks :D
Got an OpenVZ 512 with Debian 7 32-bit. Happy with the benchmarks so far. Skylar was pretty quick with the first ticket.
Any chance of supporting Ubuntu 14.04 LTS which is about to be released?
soon as ISO/templates are available we can add it yes :)
Thanks, sounds great! In that case I’ll wait a week (ISOs will be released Apr-17); don’t want to dist-upgrade after just a couple of days ;)
Our KVM servers have 14.04 ISO ready to use :)
You guys are awesome! :)
Hm, apparently 14.04 is only for KVM. Do you plan to add it to the OpenVZ servers as well?
Soon as something is made available yes.
Any updates (or expected dates) on Ubuntu 14.04 for OpenVZ?
there’s no actual template available. We’re waiting for an official one.
Templates are available for 14.04 now, we are adding these as we speak.
Does the OpenVZ 512MB fast enough to host website with some few static pages?
I sure would hope so :)
I am using openVZ 512 Mb to run 2 wordpress installations. Its just working perfectly..
Is OpenVZ 512MB fast enough to host few website?
Is it SSD VPS?
It is not SSD.
I ordered a 2GB VPS from Crissic, I’m very happy with it and the support is excellent.
On the manage control panel it is “Unknown” as status.. am I suspended?
We’re working on resolving this now. Issue with an abuser causing the node to seize up.
i love the way these vps providers always blame a ABUSER for there issues make you laugh
I’m curious, who are you? You seem to be rather angry at us for no explainable reason. Curious as to the story and if we can rectify whatever we may have done to wrong you. Our clients are happy with our services, as our reviews would suggest, so I would love to have an opportunity to fix any wrongdoing by our part. If you can open a ticket or PM me on LET I’d appreciate it.
are you accept payza ?
We do not
DO YOU allow openvpn ?
torrent?
could possible 2 kvm packets merged be 1 packet
Sure! Just drop a ticket in.
Skylar combined 10 of his OpenVZ 2048MB into a single node for me. It’s worked well since December. There is the occasional hiccup, but he answers support tickets very quickly, even on Sundays.
Best,
Michael
Are you affiliated with/same company as “NodeServ” (they are suspend trigger happy for alleged spam even though it’s not spam, complies with AUP, etc etc etc)
We are not affiliated with NodeServ. They are another brand in the same datacenter as us and utilize the same upstream that we do. We lease them IP space (which they are transitioning off of), however the affiliation ends there.
To that degree, bulk emailing isn’t allowed regardless of how you swing it. If you intend to send out tons of email regardless of can-spam or what have you, we won’t allow it.
What about running a well protected mailserver. even if it’s just incoming, there will be spammers trying to send there, is that conciderd incoming bulk?
I love Crissic. I’ve had a VPS with them since the last offer and have had no problems at all. I highly recommend them. I’m also glad they’re from the Queen city.
Nice deal, esepecially for double disk promo. Got 512MB OpenVZ plan several days ago and I love my crissic box. Thanks for the promo. Good luck for your business :)
Interesting.
I’m looking for a host with a good connection for people living in Asia. Afaik LA is the best. Is it possible for you guys to add that location?
Not likely as of now.
Wow, I got drawn in by the benchmarks here. No where near the same kind of bench’s that others seem to be getting:

Can you submit a ticket for me please? We have had some IO related issues on a few nodes that we have working solutions in place. Drop a ticket and we’ll get it taken care of.
Ticket submitted.
Ticket has been completed, support were quick and friendly.
My node is not exactly rocking the bench’s still but it’s a lot better then it was ~250MB/s average on DD tests.
Bought that VPS to access some country-restricted US resources (like pandora). Was cheaper than common VPN providers.
Living in Russia, has not noticed any slowdowns/lags. I was able to push ~10 mbps TCP, has not measured vpn performance, thought. Should be close to 10, anyway.
However, disk system seems to be slow.
I/O speed: 28.4 MB/s (from vpsbench)
simple apt tasks (like apt-get install iperf) can work 1-2 minutes, feels like system have problem reading dpkg database – it takes _long_ time. Well, no deal for me – i’m not using anything I/O intense.
Overall, i’m happy.
Submit a ticket and we’ll take a look into why the IO is so bad. It shouldn’t be below 100
Just bought the OVZ 2 GB RAM few days ago. And working with my own webserver now. I didn’t benchmark it yet, but so far so good. Not getting any significant problem at all. Will see for further progress.
Anyhow, when i’m uploading to my vps with ftp. for large files it become slower. I wonder if it’s my ISP or from my vps. Still looking for my vsFTP configurations.
However, I love this vps. :)
The links to OVZ 1GB and 2GB end up as 404. Are these offers discontinued? I’ll settle for 512MB but would prefer 1GB ;)
I’m not sure why they are using older links, didn’t notice as we had a redirect before.
Change it from https://crissic.net/billing/ to https://my.crissic.net/ — I’ll notify them to fix.
Should be working again.
2 ip is that true ? with the openvz 512mb ?
Due to ARIN entering STAGE4, we’ve opted to drop to 1 IPv4 per order. Addon IPs can still be purchased at $0.50 per additional IP.
Is there anyway I can upload and use windows iso? I ordered the KVM1024 thinking it was possible.
Hello I’ve seen that the links for ordering shared hosting aren’t working. Have you decided to stop offering it?
Why no gameserver allowed? There’s many people want to have VPS with gameserver allowed. Please allow gameserver. I already buy crissic VPS $9 Ovz 2GB but when i read the AUP there was no gameserver allowed :(
I currently want to host minecraft game server
Please allow that :'(
Thanks
Crissic’s support has been top-notch. 100% of the time when I contact them, Skylar gets back to me quickly and fixes the problem.
Hy can any one tell me how this vps thing works.. the total procedure .thanks it will be great help
I can’t recommend Crissic Solutions, seriously stay away!
I ordered a fresh vServer and installed a basic nginx webserver for a new small website. The next day it was not possible to login, so i created a ticket stating that the server is unavailable and not reachable through ssh. The non-helpful answer without any problem-solving approach: “Your IP appears nulled due to a rather large outbound 900Mbps”. The next day i checked the traffic from the control panel and there was indeed a high amount of leakage, which is weird, because the IP was nulled. It seems the traffic was an internal network problem, finally i ask for cancellation regarding the money-back guarantee. The cancellation request was denied because this will only be possible for new customers. After insisting on the cancellation, the ticket was closed instantly and my account was suspended.
PS:
Crissic Solutions seems to be a one-man show with neither technical nor business or support professionals.
Furthermore the ticket messages are phrased in a manner way to inappropriate (almost to rude) for serious costumer contact.
Your comments got deleted once already for spamming every possible advert we have. Here’s a link to my reply:
