Europhase – £3.75 128MB Xen VPS in UK Exclusive Offer

Tags: , , , Date/Time: September 6, 2010 @ 1:11 pm, by LowEndAdmin

Europhase Thomas from Europhase emailed me a few days ago their LowEndBox special that gets you 25% off recurring discount when you use promo code LEBSEPT. You can get their low end VPS for £3.75/month after the discount (Direct order link).

  • 128MB memory
  • 10GB storage
  • 200GB/month data transfer
  • Xen or OpenVZ with SolusVM

On the order form you can either choose UK or US (New York), however only OpenVZ is available in US location. Legal information spelt out clearly on their contact page, which you can look up on companieshouse.gov.uk. It looks like the “Return” is overdue over there. Well I am not an accountant so I can’t comment on that :)

The original owner of LowEndBox known as "LowEndAdmin" or "LEA" for short founded LowEndBox in 2008 and created the concept of hosting applications on low resource "Low End Boxes". After creating the roots of the community that we know today, "LEA" stepped aside and allowed others to carry the torch forward.

Currently i have 2 VPS with them (both 128MB) in UK [Rapidswitch DC]. Excellent Speed, Network connection is great to my location and the best part is their support, very friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a UK VPS.you can find my review about them in WHT.

a Question for Thomas [Europhase] : Is this offer for NEW customers ONLY?

    @Vaggelis :

1st VPS, less than 30 minutes. 2nd VPS less than 45 minutes.

I don’t know why they don’t answer. The longest response time that i saw was around 2 hours (ticket was posted around 5:30 AM,UK time). Usual response time was less than 30 minutes in past months.

@mrm2005 thank you for your response…

I ‘ll wait a little more to see how things will go. I tried to call them a few minutes ago and was transferred to their answering machine again :-(

Being used to Rapidswitch and Linode quality for my production VPSs I feel a little uncomfortable.

  8. Unfortunately we had around 150-200 fraud orders come in on Saturday so we had a slight delay in setting up new accounts for any international orders. You can imagine the amount of problems this has caused and we have to manually confirm a lot of the accounts to ensure spammers/fraudsters don’t get through.

I’m also now monitoring this thread for any other questions.

    @ mrm2005

Open a ticket for my attention and we can see what can be done :)

    @ Vaggelis

I’ve made sure that your VPS is now online and the details have been sent. I’ve also included a little compensation for your troubles.

    @ Dirk / Daniel

We are in 3 UK locations, Bluesquare:MK, Rapidswitch and Icecolo.

Just out of interest (and I understand if you decline to comment for obvious reasons), but 200 fraud orders seems insane. How many legit orders did you get? More or less?

I wonder if that’s representative of the situation for the other bargain-basement hosts here.

Many thanks to Thomas and David from Europhase. They have been really helpful and everything is settled and works really well now.

All tickets have been answered in several minutes from their tech department.

Excellent network speed from their node at Rapidswitch DC.
