FiberVolt - $5.85 256MB OpenVZ VPS in San Diego

FiberVolt Victor form FiberVolt emailed me their promotion for this month. Use coupon code LEB-10OFF to 10% off recurring discount on their OpenVZ VPS plans. If you go for quarterly payments, use LEB-15OFF will get you 15% off recurring discount. “256 Volt” plan would be $5.85/month after the discount (Sign up link here), and it comes with

  • 256MB guaranteed/512MB burstable memory
  • 30GB storage
  • 150GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

Servers with i2B Networks in San Diego CA (test IP: 65.50.224.120). While most other providers improve their offers month after months, FiberVolt’s previous two offers are actually arguably better. Their 128MB plan has also increased from $20/year to $25/year. Domain has been around for a year, registered by Alex in San Diego. Adam from Ireland did the design, who has also been answering support questions in the previous post. Victor from Australia also worked there.

  1. I won one of their yearly plans a while back and I can honestly say it has been a great little server.

No real issues (other than a DOS causing a few lost packets).

this guys are jerks. While back i reported their broken site, after many argument that their site was not broken, I sent a snapshot of broken site by firefox. They then fixed and no apology, no thank you note, no nothing. I didn’t expect anything back, but rude, jerks, don’t recommend.
When somebody gives a good feedback or suggestion, these guys take it as some sort of offense, weird jerks!

  4. Hello,

When you first commented on our WHT thread, I didn’t quite understand your question and so I said our site looked fine(because it did in my browser). The next day when I came online, both my post and yours was removed from the thread for no reason. I also received an email from you pointing out the issue on the site which I appreciated. I’d like to apologize for my response if it may have seemed rude to you and thank you for pointing out the error on our site. Once again, I’d like to say that I am deeply sorry if my comment on WHT may have offended you, but please acknowledge that I was in no way trying to be rude.

    Regards,
    Victor

I was just trying to help you nothing less or more.
I won’t ever visit your site again, so don’t worry about your broken site or link.
