I wish they do cheap VPS one day. Those prices are pretty nice for a belgian based box, but i’d prefer something 4€ ish on a powerful shared node.

    • Thanks for the feedback, 4 Euro in Belgium is really not possible. The traffic, location, labourer is very expensive over here.
The servers on our offer page https://fusa.is/offer like mentioned here are really for promotion purposes. There is no profit in them with monthly payments, but for LEB we want to go the extra mile :-)

      January 11, 2016 @ 6:05 pm | Reply
      • Why not possible? I would gladly pay 4EUR/mo even on yearly contract for 256MBish box with 10GBish of memory.

        • Comment: “Sorry a gameserver is a magnet to DDoS attacks, so we suggest you do this with a specialist gaming provider. Also the network for good gameservers need a complete different design, like some of the special game providers have. This is not a normal network like for webhosting. Every company has his own expertise and optimizations done for the services they run. Game servers is not for us, this way you won’t have bad game experience”

    • For Belgium this is not expensive at all. Bandwidth here in Belgium is very expensive. Most providers you see like OVH that offer in Belgium (or resellers) offer a Belgium IP. We have real servers in Belgium, located in this green datacenter near Bruges: http://www.dcoostkamp.be/gallery

I ordered a dedicated server from FUSA a few years ago now. The guy notified that he’d be going to the datacenter to setup my server that day. I got an email saying the server was setup and was provided the login information. Turned out the password I was given was wrong, so he drove back to the data center later that night to fix it for me.

    • Sorry, not possible. Those servers are already at cost price for us. So cheaper / more traffic is not possible in that price. Keep in mind, those servers are in Belgium, Belgium is not a LEB country :)

    • We reply to every mail we receive very fast! If you didn’t receive a reply there must be something wrong. Our average response time is 17 minutes (24/7)

      2 things you could check:
      – Did you reply to no-reply@fusa.be?
      – Check your spambox

And indeed our system auto closes your new order once a new day starts if there was no payment.

We have over 50 test orders a day.

Just grabbed one. Tim is always a pleasure to do business with.

As far as virtualization… You can have Debian 7 64 bit installed and installed Proxmox 3.1 onto it (and then upgrade to Proxmox 3.4). Combined with some NATting (iptables) you can have a few virtual guests with a single IPv4.

    Hi,

Do you offer some kind of DDOS ?
Or: what would happen it my site got DDOS’ed (not that I’m expecting this by the way) ?

    Thank you

    January 17, 2016 @ 8:09 pm | Reply
    • We don’t offer DDoS protection, your IP will get a nullroute if other customers are down due to your server in an attack. If you expect an attack please go to a provider specialised in this with 100+Gbit connections

      January 18, 2016 @ 2:38 am | Reply
      • Joris:

Not, not expecting any DDoS attack, but you can never fully rule this out, no ?

        January 18, 2016 @ 12:22 pm | Reply
        • But if you have attacks, you should migrate to a provider who has the network for this. In Belgium we can not offer this as the price per 100Mbit connection is 10x the price as in other countries. So large network capacity to “eat” a DDoS is not available for LEB pricing in Belgium

just to be curious, I just intend to have a small website (blog) and a mail server. What are the chances this would attract a DDoS attack ? Any experience on what the chance would be be the victim of a DDoS attack ?

I can’t say that I enjoy the ID verification.

Some people will say, well you don’t want to be identified because you are doing illegal things.

Well you also realize people can do illegal things after you identify them…. its not like they keep that keep that on record, if they do keep that on record, why are they keeping that on record, <_< DigitalOcean, Ramnode, Linode, etc didn't ask for my identification and I've been using them for a few years. lol
