Genesis Hosting Solutions – Exclusive offer for LEB readers only! 15% off VM’s for the first month or year!

Tags: , , , , , , Date/Time: February 14, 2020 @ 7:58 am, by Frank Williams

Genesis Hosting Solutions has recently contacted us offering LowEndBox users a special promotion of 15% off the first month or year for new sign-ups only, that use promo code LEBGVM2020 for Genesis VMs.
This promotion is extended to upgraded items. If you request to upgrade to a larger machine, for example, during the first month or year (depending on what was selected during sign-up), they will honor the promotion for the upgraded items.

We would definitely like your feedback if you purchase from them, as they have not offered promotions to other sites or in advertising. They plan to keep the LowEndBox offer exclusive for the month of February 2020.

Their WHOIS is public and you can find their ToS/Legal Docs here. They accept Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex) as payment methods.

Here’s what they had to say:

“Since 1997, Genesis’ solutions have been tuned for CIOs, IT managers, and system administrators that are looking for something better than what they’ve found elsewhere, whether it be for reliability reasons, better support, compliance, or best-in-class performance.

We pride ourselves on the ability to offer high quality services with outstanding service for prices that are easy to understand and competitive including:
– Multi-tenant, Private, and Dedicated cloud solutions
– Scale-out OpenStack environments

– Disaster recovery, business continuity, and replication solutions
– Multiple tiers of storage from archive to Enterprise SSD, Ceph, and Object Storage
– Domains, SSL Certificates, security scans, and service monitoring

  2. Test file repeatedly fails. Slow, and fails before the download completes, tried multiple times.

    • Sorry for the late reply. We weren’t monitoring this posting after a month or so from when it was published.

The test file issue has been resolved. It was related to us using Varnish as a cache, which was not happy with such a large file.
