Via this WHT offer. GotHost is currently running a 30% off recurring discount promotion. Use coupon code 304LIFE to get their “Starter” VPS for $4.19/month after the discount. Here is the sign up link, and here is the plan detail
- 384MB memory
- 15GB storage
- 300GB/month data transfer on 100Mbps
- OpenVZ/SolusVM
Their servers are in Phoenix with “ENXPHXDC01”, from the descriptions in their data center page. Domain has been registered since November 2010, although they started with a .org domain that was registered in Jan 2010. Both NS on the same server. They have actually ran a better promotion before — 50% off recurring discount use promo code VPS504LIFE, and I just tested and it still works, which brings the above plan to $3/month. However it might be withdrawn anytime though.
ToS here. IRC is not mentioned, but you must be 18+ to sign up to their service (to be legally binding), and no pyramid scheme 🙂

LEA (LowEndAdmin) is the original founder of LowEndBox and the visionary who gave rise to an entire movement around minimalist, efficient hosting. In 2008, LEA launched LowEndBox with a simple but powerful idea: that it was possible to run meaningful applications, web servers, VPNs, mail servers, and more – on small, low-cost virtual machines with minimal resources.
At a time when most infrastructure discussions were dominated by high-end servers and enterprise platforms, LEA championed the opposite approach: lightweight Linux distros, self-managed servers, open source software, and thoughtful optimization. This philosophy gave birth to the term “Low End Box”, which would come to define a new genre of hosting tailored to developers, tinkerers, and budget-conscious users around the world.
Through LowEndBox and its companion forum, LowEndTalk, LEA built the foundation for what would become one of the most active and enduring communities in the hosting world, prioritizing knowledge-sharing, transparency, and accessibility.
After several years of nurturing the site and community, LEA stepped away from active involvement, passing the torch to a new generation of admins, contributors, and moderators. Today, LEA remains a respected figure in the LowEnd ecosystem, credited with launching a platform and philosophy that continues to influence thousands of infrastructure providers and users globally.
LowEndBox’s legacy, and its thriving community, is a direct result of LEA’s original vision.
The legal age to enter a contact here in the States is 18 for the most part. That’s probably what they’re looking at. Either that they’ve had their share of younger clients in the past.
Nice to see in their ToS a fee for putting them into Spamhaus. A quick glance looks like they’re clean. Nice to see a Designated Agent as well. I didn’t see any of that when I looked at OnVPS.
if you paid for 3 months, they give you an additional 0.33 cent off/month. So the total of 8.49/3months which equate to 2.83/month if you choose 3 months payment.
correction you will get 0.17 cent off per month.
(5.99/month for 3 months )- ($1)= total/2 =round(8.485)
Heck, that’s Ramen for a day. 🙂
Is it just me or does it look like you need to order at least one IP @ $2?
I asked them a same question by sending them email to sales@gothost.org. no reply from them.
Here is answered from provider.
“You can request up to 3 IP addresses free of charge. The server is built
and issued with a single IP.
They are all IPv4 and we do not currently support IPv6.”
Which mean you got one ip with your order. you can request 2 more thru. support ticket.
Cheers for that, makes all the difference on $3 (IP costing nearly as much as the box lol)
I think Gothost is reseller of infinitie.net which base in las vegas.
They offer 8 ips with vps 256m for 9.99/month.
server has been gone since yesterday,,,,
It is still up.
Mine went down for 6 mintues.
