  3. Question:

Why same details as time4vps.eu ?

    • Both of us are a divisions of the same company that is why you may find some similarities. However we have different focus and work separately.

I have never met anyone as unprofessional and rude as the customer service at time4vps. Are any of the people from time4vps support/customer service working at hostens.eu?

        • We’re always improving our customer service and try to meat expectations as our colleagues at Time4VPS. Time4VPS and Hostens have separate helpdesks.

No offence, but your colleagues at time4vps still have quite some way to go in that regard.

            Thank you for your reply.

  4. I know this post is rather old, but the link you provide give SSL error SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG, while going from the homepage works fine

Sadly, lowendbox.com doesn’t have any new information on Hostens. But after the previous host I picked up in lowendbox went belly-up (and lost all my data!) I switched to Hostens, and so far (4 months now) very pleased with it, and strongly recommend it.

One of the nice features in their offering is that they didn’t completely fall under the spell of SSD, and still offer cheap plans with huge storage, backed by RAID spinning hard disks. These plans are great if you don’t need to serve a million different clients concurrently, but rather keep a lot of storage and access it relatively lightly. So if you’re looking for a VPS with 500 gigabytes of storage – not 5 gigabytes – Hostens is one of the better and cheaper options.
