Just found another low-end/cheap VPS provider. HostInEuro has a low end plan “VPS 50” that’s 4 euro a month which gives you:
- 64MB guaranteed memory/256MB burstable
- 2GB storage
- 50GB data transfer per month
- OpenVZ
- CentOS, Debian, Fedora Core, Suse, Ubuntu, Gentoo
From the “About Us” page it looks pretty well established. The servers are in Avaya Databurg Datacenter in Frankfurt, Germany.
Update: The “VPS 50” plan does not seem to exist anymore.

Stay away from Hostineuro at all cost! They used to be reasonable, but changed owner recently. Since then they dived.
They had a disk error, lost database. Suppoort did not respond for days. I ordered another VPS, migrated. After some weeks they corrected the HDD error, but I abandoned the old VPS by that time.
New VPS came with poisoned IP, was on all RBLs, couldn’t send mail. I got a new IP, migrated.
After a month they put down the new VPS for 2.5 hours workday daytime. Support did not respond. Since then they boot the server in single user mode. Support responded after some weeks. Offered no solution.
They keep charging for the old abandoned VPS.
Right now I have 6 tickets unanswered. Some months old.
Hostineuro sucks big time.
