Hostitek Via this WHT offer. Hostitek is currently offering 30% off recurring discount on their monthly plans. Use promo code WHT30%off when you order, and the promotion expires at the end of May. Their “VZ1” package would be $3.50/month after the discount. Direct order link.

  • 128MB guaranteed/256MB burstable memory
  • 25GB storage
  • 250GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

Servers in Denver with FDC Servers (test IP: 204.45.55.153). If you opt for yearly billing, you can also use promo code VPS60%off to get 60% off recurring discount + 15% off memory/storage/data transfer when you file a ticket. That’s $20/year for a 192MB/384MB memory, 38GB storage and 380GB/month data OpenVZ box. I try not to make their yearly offer a highlight as the domain was merely registered at the end of March this year. The company running it, however, has been in business since October 2007 — Taiwan based Uweb (a web design company it seems). That might mean Chinese support in UTC+8 timezone, which might please some regulars here.

The original owner of LowEndBox known as "LowEndAdmin" or "LEA" for short founded LowEndBox in 2008 and created the concept of hosting applications on low resource "Low End Boxes". After creating the roots of the community that we know today, "LEA" stepped aside and allowed others to carry the torch forward.

I wonder what is the intended purpose of the plan highlighted on the screenshot ($75 is per month).
