Hassan has sent in a new exclusive offer from Hostodo for the Low End Box community! Hostodo has been featured four times over the past few years, with generally positive feedback from customers. In their own words:

“Hostodo is a virtual private server provider offering stable virtual private servers at a low cost. We are a registered business in Michigan, and we love being a part of the Low End community. We were established in 2014, and provide shared hosting as well as KVM and OpenVZ virtual servers.”

Is the discount recurring or one-time?

Never mind this question. I did a test run through the order system and it seems to be recurring.

  11. The IP they gave me is on two blacklists. Haven’t heard any response from my ticket requesting a different IP or assistance in getting delisted in >6hrs.

Now my it’s throwing “No space left on device” trying to write anything, but I’ve used only 23G of my 90G. I hope they can at least respond to that ticket. This isn’t useful if it’s only 20GB and blacklisted.

    • FYI for everyone considering this, the hostodo team did resolve both issues by migrating me to LA from TX. I’m very happy with the result and would recommend the service if you don’t need speedy ticket response.

I tried KVM-512. But LA and TX link is out of stock. MIA one bring me to a page that I have to pay $8/mo. There is some big distance between reality and advertisement

Lowendbox still has not changed the listing — the 1024 Open VZ package is only 3TB bandwidth, not 5TB bandwidth. Think this is just a typo on LEB’s part.

I purchased a VPS in L.A. and was probably one of the first to purchase as the deal had just barely went up.

The IP is not blacklisted and so far have not had any problems. However I really only have small low traffic websites and have not attempted to use customer support yet.

Transferring to Hostodo because Crissic is terminating all unmanaged VPSes tomorrow.

Disk performance is terrible, and they randomly power down your VPS every 2-3 weeks.

I would like to share my honest feedback on hostodo.

I’ve used it for few months and so this is exactly what happened.

When the service works, it usually runs okay. In OpenVZ, you’ll see sudden load raise, then your website will become terribly slow. The support team is the worst in the world. They will take ages to answer simple queries and if you face any problem, you are almost dead…They are 200% pathetic, don’t ever buy a hosting even from hostodo..The end, there are much better companies here with better service and price too.

Good bye Hostodo, thanks for the worst ever support.
