HostUS has been around since 2012. They’re a registered company in the US and their WHOIS is public as well. While they initially started with just an Atlanta location, they later expanded to Dallas and Los Angeles, followed by Hong Kong right now. Contrary to the US, hardware in Hong Kong is rented and not owned by HostUS. Host nodes have dual Intel Xeon E5 CPUs and SSDs in hardware RAID10. These offers feature a panel called the ‘Breeze’ panel which appears to be custom to HostUS. More information about that here. If you give their Hong Kong location a shot, please let us know how it goes!

Payments can be made using PayPal, Bitcoin, and Skrill (on request). The IPs are owned by HostUS and come directly from APNIC. There’s a three day money back guarantee. For the details on that and other things, please read their Terms of Service!

Good to see affordable HK solution. Just tested from Phnom Penh @ 50ms which is a tad quicker than DO Singapore using Viettel ISP. Softlayer rocks.

Bought one of their previous offers in the US, it’s been almost a year and I am still incredibly satisfied. There has been 0 downtime on my server, the support was fast and helpful when I had a question, the server’s speeds were great. Would definitely recommend.

From China Telecom, Ping is pretty good around 38ms but the download speed is slow. There’s only 100KB/s from a 100m China Telecom line.

Another download test, speed increases to 3MB/s. And the third test, speed drop to 500KB/s. Not stable.

A very funny VPS business. He will tell you that you are a fraud client in your registration, so that you can prove the identity before payment, and not after your payment. This behavior is the first time I met.

    • Hello,

It might be possible that your order was automatically marked as fraud. This usually happens to orders placed with a VPN or accounts with invalid address.

Please submit a ticket if you would like this to be looked at.

      Thanks,
      Alexander

Very bad services. They’re asking for ID proof and proof of address, like paypal and other bank does. Thats ridiculous. I do not recommend this provider to anyone.
