I think thats not a really amazing deal.
At $39 QuadraNet can do 1G port with BW 20T.

So here’s the thing, not every deal is going to be the right deal for every person. I wish we could make that happen, but that’s just never going to be the case.

To some folks, this might be the deal they’re looking for, for whatever reason (location, ToS, etc).

I’m all for giving opinions, but it’s best when they add some contextual value to the conversation.

    • I will be discussing the possibility of offering 1Gbit lines with my partner within the next day or so. After I figure out if he wants to offer them or not, I will update you. Thanks for the feedback!

    But L5420 and 16G ram are advantages….

See? A little quick to judge, maybe? :-)

  3. Hmm.. the L5420 seems to be a 4 core (and 4 threads) chip, not 8.

  4. It looks like there’s supposed to be a second offer, but it’s cut off?

For additional HDD it just says “monthly charge” – how can I know what you will charge?

    March 29, 2017 @ 10:15 pm | Reply
    • The pricing was on each addon. It just wasn’t until you added it that you would see the change. I have updated the options to provide a clearer understanding of the pricing to save you time. I appreciate the feedback.

That’s not a bad deal, honestly. Granted 1G would be nice, I likely would only burst over 100M anyway. IPMI and 4 drive bays are what make this most appealing for me. Are 1TB drives currently the only option, or would 2TB+ be a possibility?

    March 30, 2017 @ 1:20 am | Reply
    • I need to discuss 1Gbit lines with my partner to see what we would charge if we did offer it. If he decides to allow 1Gbit on orders, I’ll update you here. As for the 1TB drives, I will discuss that with my partner and see what we can expand to offer. I appreciate the feedback you provided. It’s going to help us better suit the needs and desires of potential customers.

      • We have updated the port options. We now offer 1Gbit port. As for anything over 1TB HDD, we currently do not offer anything more than that. We may change that in the future though.

    • Corrected that. Stock control is disabled now. We have plenty of servers to serve with. No need for a stock control. Thanks for the feedback!

Just buy it directly from the provider that’s being resold here, and get it 10 usd/month cheaper, without the risk of an additional item in the chain going belly-up: https://www.reliablehostingservices.net/whmcs/cart.php?a=add&pid=263

    • I seen he changed his pricing. I was trying to match his offer that was on here before. With that being said, I’ve dropped the price down to $29.99. The 1GBit line is also included with the limit of 5TB transfer.

      March 31, 2017 @ 10:16 pm | Reply
    • I would also like to note, we are not reselling our DC’s servers. We have our own servers and racks. We did intentionally try to match hardware as we purchase some of our hardware from the DC itself. Having the option to purchase from the DC itself makes it much more affordable for us to invest in. In other words, we get more bang for our buck.

Not sure why you’d rather go with the direct company that sells this dedicated server for $30.00/month… where as JTN Solutions is selling it for $10 more..

    • Just seen that when the user above mentioned it. I was looking at the offer posted before from my provider here on LowEndBox. Since the price has changed, I’ve matched it and included 1Gbit with 5TB transfer. Thank you for the feedback!

How many IP addresses do you get with this server? Your ad does not specify.

    March 31, 2017 @ 9:03 pm | Reply
    • Two; one for the IPMI and one for the server. You can purchase addition IP’s for $3 each. If you need a bulk amount, we might be able to provide discounts. For that, you would need to submit a ticket to our sales department.

Might have to configure your order page a bit more might be a mistake might not be. But right now i can order a 4x 1tb server with 24gb of ram and 100bit unmertered for 3 months $98.16 USD sounds like a good deal to me. Might want to fix that!

    April 1, 2017 @ 12:59 am | Reply
    • I appreciate the feedback. It would seem that the 3 month option wasn’t removed like it should have been. I’ve since fixed that. Thank you for pointing that out.

I see stock now replenished. Very interested but after looking close, see no mention of IP allocation? How many IP4? IP6?

    Thanks

    April 1, 2017 @ 7:49 pm | Reply
    • You will get two IP’s assigned to you. One for your IPMI; one for your dedicated server itself. IPV6 we don’t offer but we can get them if someone requires them. They price on IPV4 is $3 per IP per month and the price on IPV6 is $0.75 per IP per month.

What’s up with the Ubuntu selection? Only 12.04… 5 years+ is a litle old.

    • We offer any newer version you would like as well. I appreciate you pointing out the selections. I will have someone update them this week.

I still don’t see the option of any Ubuntu greater than 12.04, just FYI.
