Kevin from KayHosting has expanded to start offering SSD KVM VPS’s for the New Year, and is here with some awesome looking offers for the LowEndBox community! They are offering 3 different KVM specials based out of Chicago, and also the 2GB plans and up include free Windows OS if you want it! We’ve been told that the KVM Host Nodes are powered by Dual Xeon E5-2660v2’s with 8x SSD’s in a RAID-10 array, so these should provide pretty powerful performance for your applications!

They have been featured on LowEndBox before and received positive reviews – as always, if you decide to buy from them, we are interested in hearing about your experience in the comments section below! Their WHOIS is public, and you can find their ToS here. They accept PayPal, Credit Cards, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Ethereum as payment methods.

Here’s what they had to say:

“KayHosting is starting off the new year with a major expansion that has been highly requested by our users – KVM VPS powered by SSD! Some of our core values are “Quality, Service and Support”. Our company has evolved, now offering Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, OpenVZ VPS Hosting, Dedicated Servers and now… KVM VPS! In addition, everything we deliver is powered by SSD drives only. If you are seeking for a host that is devoted to providing a reliable & high performance service with some of the best support in the industry, look no further than KayHosting for a world-class experience!”

Decided to buy a 2GB VPS. Fired the bad boy up with Cent OS 7.

Not bad for 35 bucks a year.

  3. Thoughts on these packages? I have tried the shared hosting and seems heavily resource limited.

Some notes on commenting on LowEndBox:

  • Do not use LowEndBox for support issues. Go to your hosting provider and issue a ticket there. Coming here saying "my VPS is down, what do I do?!" will only have your comments removed.
  • Akismet is used for spam detection. Quoting webhostingtalk.com URL seems to get binned consistently here, but I do peek into the spam box frequently to publish those comments.
