Honestly LosAngelesvps is one of the better vps providers I have used, for the price you would think you cant expect much but it actually does better than some of my more pricier VPSs. I run slot hosting on it and should be needing another vps by next week at the pace I am outgrowing my current vps here at which point i will definitely order one of the 2.5 gb promo from here.

Here is the URL to our new Looking Glass, where you will find a test IP, numerous test file sizes among other tools.

Reading this and other similarly attractive offers on LOB, I wonder whether the advertised prices are protected against hikes in the future. The ToS do not make mention of any price protection for years 2+. Thanks for any information or experiences on this.

    • Hi macula

Thank you for your interest with us

Yes, these are completely protected against hikes in the future. We have never and will never raise prices with our clients. The price you sign up at today is the same price you will be able to renew at in subsequent renewals.

A compelling offer — thank you, Zheng. Will seriously consider switching from my incomprehensibly expensive “fancy” VPS provider as soon as time allows.

    DANGER WILL ROBINSON… DANGER!!!

I will provide my first-hand experiences with this “provider” in the hopes that others won’t fall victim as I did…

    1) “support” is a joke. Expect 4-8hrs per response per ticket exchange. (I had three) and two have taken over 24hrs to resolve.

    2) the basics don’t work. E.g. “restart host” does not work through the control-panel. Requires a ticket (see #1 above.)

    3) don’t expect to run anything useful without dire impacts to use: CPU/BW. The sluggishness is a clear sign of how poorly managed the hosts are.

Take your money and business elsewhere. This is a cut-throat level business (in the LEB space.) What sets you apart is your ability to deliver and quickly…Their responses clearly show that these guys have no idea what they’re doing. While the $$$ looks good for the offers, they can’t run the most basic tasks and support is at a GED level.

My recommendation is to spend a few more bucks and go with a provider that can deliver and knows how to run in this space…
