LoveVPS - $7 512MB KVM VPS in Orlando

LoveVPS Matthew from LoveVPS has emailed me over the weekend that they has just released their KVM VPS plans. At the same time, OpenVZ VPS are still in HostBill but no product listing to be found on their website. Might be a good thing, as they are now focusing on Xen and KVM hosting. So, for $7/month you can pick up the same VPS with either virtualization.

  • 512MB memory
  • 25GB storage
  • 1000GB/month data transfer
  • Xen or KVM on SolusVM

Direct sign up link for Xen VPS and KVM VPS. Do note that the Xen VPS sign up does not work at the moment — no product under that category. In fact the whole website feels a bit unfinished — broken links (“MyLoveVPS”) and coming soon pages (“Service Level Agreement”). Matthew did mention that they were working on a new site, but at least he should get the HostBill fixed before loosing many potential Xen signups.

Servers with HostDime in Orlando FL (test IP: 72.29.87.105), and have a mix of colo and leased servers under their fleet. They are based in UK, and have been around since February this year.

  1. Hello,

Thanks for this listing. The actual HostBill links are not broken, sadly its just due to HostBills poor stock management system. When a product is out of stock it just disappears instead of displaying an out of stock message. This is extremely annoying to us as at the present time it creates a significantly higher workload in answering sales tickets along the lines of “where is xen order link?”

Once again thanks for the listing and sorry for the inconvenience caused by HostBill. I brought a new node online yesterday so there will be some more stock online today.

  2. Get WHMCS. HostBill is seemingly ‘smoother’ for the client but terrible in comparison for admins..has issues with all sorts of thing including automation.

    • We know HostBill is proving terrible for us and creating confusion with our clients. I can assure you we are doing something about it at the present time. We will have a replacement in place Mid December. Moving Billing System is never something to be done lightly so we do have to consider the implementations, plus the fact that WHMCSs importer for HostBill is still in beta at the present time.

This is something I have been considering moving clients over to WHMCS, but as I say there advantages and disadvantages to both and its a case of weighing them up.

      Thanks

      Matthew B

  3. On website it says

    512MB
    HDD: 25GB
    Traffic: 1000GB

But this plan (LEB) says 500GB bandwidth, which one is right?

    • I’ve updated to say 1000GB. The 500GB figure was from Matt’s email :P

We have had a few more requests but at the present time we do not see the need to accept all of the listed a above. We are considering adding google checkout but it is still in the very early stages.

Just tried…XenVPS displayed nothing then I read through this thread and know why. I tried to chat with the “Online” chat. It displayed a message it had trouble connecting. This is like having a physical store with the Open sign in the window but the door is locked.

Explained above this means we are out of stock. HostBill do not allow me to change this sadly so at the present time I can not change nothing to display to out of stock. We are having issues with our LiveChat script at the present time. I am aware you submitted a sales ticket which will be answered during operational hours.
