New LowEndBox Offers Helpdesk

Today we have made a change to the way offers are handled, and that is through a new Ticket System. This will now allow us as a team to work on offers, without offers being assigned to a single individual writer. Secondly, we are changing the priority for publishing offers, offers with the best value will be published first. If you have an offer in the queue, and one of better value is submitted it will take priority over existing offers. You can “Read More” to find out more about this.

Priority of Publishing
Our members read LowEndBox to find the best value offers, value is a subjective term. It could mean RAM or Hard Disk to some, it could mean location and network or free backups to others, whilst some seek the exotic of hosting in the Bahamas. We are not setting hard fast rules against this, each writer is being given their freedom to choose offers they feel are of better value. However an offer that is perceived to be of greater value will get priority over pre-existing offers in the system.

How often can you submit an offer?
30 Days from either publishing date of your offer or 30 Days from the last comment on your ticket by either you or a writer. This means if you spam the ticket system it will just prolong how long you need to wait.

Why the change?
Presently providers send in an offer, and if a writer takes up the offer the provider works one on one with that writer until all information we require is submitted, then the offer is written. The issue here is that a writer will start to correspond with a provider, then something happens during the week (family commitments, work, real life etc) and that writer goes MIA for a while and that offer is left in limbo.

Where do I get to the HelpDesk?

Offers can also be submitted via email through to Offers at LowEndBox.Com

The helpdesk is an interim measure, we are extremely close to finished with the new site with some individuals already testing features for us like our new network tool built by maxexcloo. However even after this we will keep the helpdesk, as a way to be contacted outside of the website if you have account issues etc.

Should providers who are in the queue (not featured yet) open a new ticket to restart communication or will the queued offers be brought into the ticketing system or otherwise dealt with prior to the ticketing system?

  8. Is it limited only to VPS providers? Maybe it can be extended also with VPS related services such as DNS? :)

    • I think it would be a good idea to propose to the team to build another site like lowenddns[dot]com or lowendstorage[dot]com, don’t you think?

Not so sure about the ‘better value offers get moved to front of line’ thing – as the same provider can have the best value offer every month and get posted all the time.
