Never had a problem with OnePoundWebHosting, Customer service is always great too. and their network has improved massively since level3 was added. ping is very low 18< from my isp
Not much bandwidth for that price also many now have 1Gbps. I think poor value for money.
It’s due to how close it is to London and the fact its actually in the UK bandwidth isn’t cheap.

You would be able to use irssi but not host an IRC server.

Service is very good for me, too. I’ve got an irc client running and never had problems so far. I am always connected to my server.

I think as the 512MB comes with 4 CPU cores and the 768 comes with 2 ;)
Yes, this is correct. The 512mb was the original offer from last year which some people still prefer due to having access to 4 cores.
