OnVirt is a new company that started February this year. Their domain is very new but the WHOIS information is public. Sebastian told us that a unique feature of their setup is the use of the ZFS filesystem. He is also very bold to say that no resources will be oversold/oversubscribed. There is no detailed host node information other than they are using Intel Xeon CPUs and SSD disks in RAID10 configuration. Since they are very new, we will appreciate feedbacks from those who are willing to try their service.

PayPal and Direct Bank Transfer (SEPA) are accepted payment methods. There is a 14 day full money back warranty, so it is fairly safe to give them a try. We highly encourage you to read their Terms Of Service carefully before making any purchase.

  3. Hi,

glad to see that we are listed on LowEndBox and hope you all give us a try ;-)

Just if you didn’t know, the LEB35 coupon code is valid for all our VPS types currently :-)

@versus: You are right, during VPS creation we will send the password of your VPS unencrypted via email. This is the only task when the password will be sent via email and it comes with an advice to change the password as fast as possible. If you perform a reinstallation or a password reset in the customer area, the password will not be sent via email again.

    Regards
    Sebastian

      • You are right, the exchange rates altered our 6,50 € / month offer is not meeting the LowEndBox requirements currently.

We created a new discount code with which grants permanent 40% discount on all VPS plans, so the VPS Small is available for 6,00 € per month now which meets the regulations.

        New code: LEB40 / 40.00% discount

        Regards
        Sebastian

Yes, this offer will clearly need to be pulled until the exchange rate cooperates or more discount is offered.

        New code: LEB40 / 40.00% discount

Do you provide a console that allows complete re-installation of the OS remotely, from an OS CD image?

    June 15, 2015 @ 10:23 pm | Reply
    • All of our VPS come with a noVNC console, if you want to install a specific operating system from an ISO image just send us a support request and we will add it to your VPS for the installation.
