  3. Hi,

All the Location have 1 GB/s Uplink ?? Is the full Space Usable ?? I mean for Me, I would use full of the space, so asked !

    September 7, 2015 @ 7:10 pm | Reply
    • Only the NYC data center is a 100 Mbps uplink. All other locations (LA, Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, Buffalo) have 1 Gbps.

When you mean “space”, do you mean disk capacity? If so, yes. The capacity allocated can be fully utilized.

Where can I find OnlyOffice template to test?

    • We had a bit of a hiccup with having the template viewable for all nodes. You should be able to see it now in the template list drop down. Its listed as “OnlyOffice 8.6.0 – Minimum 2 GB RAM”. Yes, it requires a plan with that much RAM.

    • The config script checks for a proper domain name. Enter a common one for now, like .net, and we can change it after setup.

I’ve had one of their servers for a while, and the I/O is pretty lousy. I was running it as a replication slave for a DB hosted on a RamNode VPS (with same specs), and it couldn’t keep up.

    September 22, 2015 @ 4:11 am | Reply
    • Could you tell us the specs of the vm and its location? You can also contact us via the ticket system or support email to tell us more about your application & experience. Lets see if we can improve things for you.

I’ve opened ticket #794806 since this doesn’t need to be thrashed out on LEB. The VPS is running in Dallas (node51). To avoid doubt, when I say “couldn’t keep up”, I mean it has I/O wait of +/- 20% and is falling behind the master at the rate of 1 second for every second it runs. Meanwhile, the master is used in production and is getting hit with reads AND writes yet handles it pretty easily (I/O wait around 1%). Both OpenVZ, neither is pure SSD, etc. If you can improve it then I’d be pretty happy.
