    AU may be interested only for locals, ping to other locations too high. Also less resources with highter price.

      all our offers are available to any customers no matter which country you’re from. You just need to go to the website of your OVH Subsidiary (ovh.com/fr ovh.ie ovh.co.uk ovh.com.au etc.) and order your service from there.

      Do you have any specific issue for ordering ?

        Sorry, you expressly don’t know the OVH ordering-system!! A registration at your AU web is only possible for your countries and after login in the OVH german ordering system, there is no offer for sydney and signapure. And as below comment write, nobody wants to search all the day in crazy OVH system!

    WARNING! OVH could be the most complicated VPS installation system in the world.

    The sign-up and install are unnecessarily tedious and a vast amount of work.
    The Control Panel is ungainly and a painfully slow over-involved mess.

    I signed up, paid for the Singapore package, and now sincerely wish that I hadn’t.

    PROCEED AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

    • Hi,

      Can I have more detail about this ? OVH is hosting multiples ten of thousand VPS and I didn’t hear something like this.

      To order a VPS and get it pre-install with the OS I want, it take only few minutes and few clicks.

      – On the ordering page I select the VPS I want, the location and the Operating System and click Continue;
      – I get a preview of my order, I click on Continue;
      – I log on my account and click on Continue;
      – I accept the terms and click on Continue;
      – I add or select my payment method and click on Continue;
      – I pay the order

      That’s a pretty simple and straightforward process. Do you have any specific issues explaining the “most complicated … in the world” ? We love feedback and look forward to improve our ordering process if required.

      Thank you.

        -Did that.
        Sign up with only an Aus or NZ address? Say what? Never mind.
        -Did that.
        -Did that.
        -Did that.
        Paid.

        Received 3 emails, the last one verifying payment. Link in email went to a site in French, changed to English, link simply went to the head of the OVH website. Control panel showed no payment for 4 hours, then no activation, no service, and now 12 hours later, still no activated VPS. (PayPal sent payment verification email instantly, again it was 12 hrs ago.)

        I highly suggest that you have a very close look into how most other companies provide their VPS services via LEB here Maiko.

        I have active contracts with six other providers. Please check out the simplistic ease in which virtually all of the other companies instantly provide VPS services to their customers… ‘HostingUS’ in SG for example, Woot, AlphaRacks, Virmach, IonSwitch, etc. Afterward, take a good hard look at the way your big giant company does your setups, specifically regarding Singapore.

        I want to cancel my OVH order immediately. Please provide information on how to do so.

        Thank you.

        • We use an automatic anti-fraud system. A small percentage of order are processed manually. If that’s the case, it should be stated at the bottom of your order. Following the review of it, we may contact you for additional information. Please also note that Paypal is holding for a longer period some payment and do not send the notification to the seller for few minutes or hours since two weeks, as also reported by other providers on LowEndTalk. I’m not sure, without looking at your order, if it was the anti-fraud or PayPal issue that delay the delivery.

          Please keep in mind OVH is a European company, we have law to respect. That’s why, in example, you can’t use a German account on any OVH website which is not another European one. Customer based are isolated. All “true” European company that don’t want to send their customer data abroad (and to be in compliance with the new GPDR law) should do the same thing.

          As on “why” the ordering link provided above do not work for some of your, it’s because it’s an order link for North-American and APAC customer only. I provided two link to LEB but only one was published, sorry about this.

          If you want to cancel your order, I’m really sorry about this, please open a support request in the control panel. If you can send me the ticket ID, It’ll my pleasure to proceed with your request and check why you got redirected to a French page during the process.

          Thanks.

        OVH is possibly the best host you can get in Singapore and maybe Sidney. Their control panel is possibly the easiest panel you could use. Support is better than the support around 2014 and 2015.

      It is possible that you are just a user that’s in a blacklist that uses the server for no good.

    1 vCore = % Dedicated CPU ?

    October 7, 2017 @ 8:15 am | Reply
    • Hi,

      This is a VPS “SSD”, there’s a fair and small overcommit, I can’t disclose the ratio.
      Our other VPS Rand “VPS Cloud” as well as our Public Cloud offering don’t have overcommit and get dedicated and guaranteed ressources (not yet available in SGP or SYD).

      Thank you for your comment.

    Hi, what is your logging policy for these sites ? Doesn’t Australia have a new ISP logging laws – If I want to run private VPN will you be storing logs of Sydney traffic under those annoying laws ? Thanks

    October 7, 2017 @ 10:11 am | Reply
    • Hi,

      OVH is a infrastructures provider, we don’t manage the software part. If you run a VPN service, it is your responsibility to be in compliance with law. On our side, there’s no logging (we don’t have access to your OS/Data).

  12. Been using OVH for several years, so far no problem at all.
    It just that when they release new service (same price with upgraded spec), the other service will not be affected.
    Feels like being cheated, lol
