Does anyone have experience on how to get this with quickweb?

P.s. Centos 5.5 32 bit is using up 170mb memory with nothing installed yet, doesn’t seem normal?

Xen seems to be doing that for me aswell, first boot it uses 140mb of RAM, after reboot much less. Only found it a problem with CentOS.

    Hi,

Due to the very low price of this offer, we’d have to charge an extra £3.50 for ClientExec if you’d like it. This won’t affect most customers. Enjoy the great offer :)

Sorry about that – I should have mentioned it before. The CE licences cost us roughly £3 each, so if we sell a VPS for £3 and give it away for free, we get nothing for the VPS and actually make a loss on the licence as well due to Paypal fees. The £3.50 just covers our costs, and CE for £3.50 is still a great offer anyway.

    ZTEC:

True..£7 = $11 which is exactly what a CE license would cost me. So I’d get a free VPS just to host CE on.

Can anyone tell how the companies get clientexec and other software for such a low price?

cos £3 is almost equal to $4.75 and nowhere on the internet have I seen that price for clientexec. Licensepal sells the 25 client edition for $8.95. Thats the cheapest so far I have known.

One was HostRail with the 65% discount (Cpanel for $ 4.2) and the other I came across was host90 for $5. But as I said before, you get it at these prices only if you buy a VPS from them and not as external standalone licenses.

Maybe if all the fans of LEB can unify and strike a deal with cpanel, then we all may get a VPS license for $5 :P

The company that hosts their servers (Vooservers) received a large DDoS attack that crippled their

They appear to have their own servers and their own administrators
and the network is slightly different.

And the lowest Vooservers vps is £3.60 (after coupon) while this is £3.00 and gives you almost the same resources + two IP addresses. Either deal is a great deal.

I know. When we started out with Vooservers, they did not offer VPSs which worked well for us, but since the fall of RackVM, we have actually been competing with our supplier, which is not ideal, but we’ve made it work, managing to offer similarly great deals.
