LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

RansomIT - $21/Quarter - 1024MB KVM in Adelaide, Australia

Oliver, from RansomIT, has sent in this exclusive offer. RansomIT have had a virtual monopoly on the LowEnd Australian market for a while, but we recently featured another Aussie host. Competition in Australia is hotting up!

Meerkat LEB KVM VPS

  • 1024MB RAM
  • 20GB Diskspace
  • 2 Shared CPU Cores
  • 40GB Inbound Bandwidth
  • 120GB Outbound Bandwidth
  • Shared 100mbit Port
  • 1 IPv4 & 20 IPv6
  • KVM/SolusVM
  • Promo Code: LOLMEERKATS
  • $21/Quarter | Order Link

RansomIT have been a registered “discretionary Trading Trust” since 2008 (click here for more info). They’re using the Intel Xeon E5430 CPU and, at minimum, 7200rpm SAS drives in RAID1. This plan is usually $33, but in this offer it will only cost $21 per quarter after the promo code has been applied. Ransom have been featured several times before. I couldn’t find any reviews regarding RansomIT’s virtual services, so it would be great if any of their customers could share their experience with us!

RansomIT accept payments through Paypal. TOR/adult content/torrents/newsgroups/spamming/gameservers is not allowed but IRC is okay. Refunds can be given if you’re unhappy with your service or if problems occur. They will however not be given if your vps has been terminated for breaching their Terms of Service.

It’s large for Australia, doubly so for Adelaide where bandwidth is super-expensive.

This is an incredible offer and I’d highly recommend it if you need an Aussie VPS and don’t mind being away from the east coast.

  7. I vouch for the service. Not only the uptime is outstanding but Oliver has given me a free upgrade to KVM when I chose the wrong virtualization platform.
I also never had any problems with the server.

  8. Interesting that you guys have gzip enabled for your test file, was initially amazed by the speeds (2.2MB/s on my dodgy home connection)

Might be worthwhile disabling gzip on that file in future :P
