LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

RansomIT - $48/year 256MB KVM and more in Adelaide and Sydney, Australia

Oliver, from RansomIT, created these four special offers for servers in Adelaide and Sydney (both in Australia) exclusively for LowEndBox.com! While there usually is a $20 setup fee, it has been waived for these offers. The coupon code to remove the setup fee can be found below the offers. Ransom IT has been trading as a discretionary trading trust since June 2008 (link) and have been featuring on LowEndBox since early 2012. Ransom IT started offering KVM VPS over a year ago and has since expanded to Sydney. Recently, even more hardware was deployed in Sydney, which created enough room to make these offers. Their servers are using either E3-1240v2, E5-2603, E5-2620 or Opteron 4274HE CPUs along with several disks in RAID1 or RAID10.  The bandwidth in Sydney comes with free Black Lotus DDoS protection. These offers are limited to one per customer; all prices include GST which cannot be waived. Reviews of Ransom IT are positive and I can personally tell you that their servers and their service are simply awesome. Feel free to share your experiences with Ransom IT either in the comments here or at LowEndTalk.com!

RansomIT only accepts payments through Paypal. According to Oliver, refunds can be provided if you’re unhappy with your service or if problems occur, but you must not have breached their TOS and got terminated. TOR exit nodes, game servers, hosting pornographic material, spamming, hosting copyrighted content or doing anything that infringes Australian law is not OK. IRC is fine. Additional IPv4 addresses are $2/month/IPv4 with a limit of one additional IP per server. And as always: take a look at their Terms of Service before you order!

Not at this point. I am concentrating on KVM services as the demand for these is much higher. If you are after an OpenVZ plan feel free to fill in the contact form here but be aware OpenVZ services are only available in Adelaide.

What, NP? Their network is shit, as I’ve explained. I’ve been with every single Australian provider and RansomIT is officially the best in AU. There is, quite simply, nobody with this high quality of service and pricing.

          Even Vultr can’t match this.

  9. Although I know a few Aussie providers provide VPSes with more BW and better network, I still recommend RansomIT because I have a RansomIT VPS for a company’s website, it’s been stable. :)

    Your ToS states:

    > Game servers are not permitted on services in Adelaide.

Does that mean game servers are allowed on Sydney VPSes?

Great service. Good to see you now have a 400gb vps option. I had to move a vps off your service a while ago due to hitting the 100gb limit, will re-signup later today.

    Hi there,

I was looking at your hosting solutions and they look very tempting. I just wanted to confirm that the services will allow us to install our own packages such as SVN, tomcat, and Neo4J databases?

Also, do you have any unlimited bandwidth plans, and how much would that cost?

    Thanks!

how come I can’t connect to my IP on the VPS created? It shouldnt be so freaking hard to setup. They say to read their forums for support but come on I should at the very least be able to ping the IP.
