RegVPS is a Russian company, though I cannot find any company registration information. Their WHOIS is public and the domain has been registered since early 2014, so well over a year now. Windows VPS run on Xen-HVM while Linux VPS run on Xen-PV; be sure to select a Windows VPS in case you required Xen-HVM. Windows 2003 Server R2 Enterprise is included; it’s quite dated (and I’m putting it mildly…) so you may be better of trying to get one of your own licenses on there with a newer version. You can use your own ISO: please ask them about the details in case you want to use one. Host nodes haven dual Intel Xeon E5-2620 CPUs, 64GB of RAM, and 4x 2TB hard drives in RAID10. Germany and Switzerland nodes have a 1Gbps uplink; those in the USA and Russia have a 100Mbps one. If you are a customer or become one as a result of this post, please let us know how things are going!

Payment methods accepted are PayPal, Bitcoin, or WebMoney. There’s a 7-day money back guarantee, though I suspect it’s first-customer first-service only; please ask them for the details. No backups are included, so take your own. Add-ons are available, like an additional IPv4 for $2/IPv4/month. For all the details on what is and is not allowed, please read their Terms of Service before ordering.

Absolutely not, they would do everything they are legally empowered to do to stop this.

So anyway, it’s my understanding (confirm this for yourself) that Swiss law prohibits the monitoring of someone’s network traffic. So yes, it’s absolutely illegal to distribute copyrighted information. It’s also absolutely illegal to gather evidence that someone is doing this.

I looked up this company and all I found is that they sued the Ministry of Education for misconducting a services outsourcing auction.

I did not know that you could sue someone in Russia. You must mean that they got persuaded, much like I am persuaded to get services with them due to their female workers.

  10. I got one of their VPS’s (Linux) in the CH data center. Not only is the staff hot!, but they know what they are doing. Response times on tickets are fast, like my ping times.

BL: Run and sign-up before this deal is gone!!!

  11. Hi, this guys suspended all of my three servers without any prior warning or any email on the Day 1. Whoever think their cheapy prices are comfortable, please take into account not to make long transactions more than a month. Because today shut my servers and i asked why it is for ? They sent me some weird log files that my servers attacked their “partners” servers :D but the dns records all the stuff is not matching my excluding my ip :D So, they blame me and i guess they ate 40-50 USD without a hassle :D Well done LEB you do have great russian scammers in your list to lose your trustworthy and reputation !

Folks, I have been with them for several years now and I have not had any problems. You will not have issues.

As for the Private Layer DC, I am about to take the jump and also get service there with REG, I figure that if the service is bad, the last thing the guys in Panama want is a group of angry Russians in their office.
