LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

ReverseHosts- $3/month 1GB and $4/month 2GB OpenVZ VPS in San Diego

Hassan, from ReverseHosts, has got two exclusive offers for LowEndBox readers, located with Calihop at the AIS datacenter in San Diego, California. ReverseHosts have been around for over one and a half year now, having been founded in September 2012. We have previously featured this Michigan-based host three times before. They’re using servers with Xeon processors, at least 16GB RAM and numerous SSD’s in RAID 1 or RAID10. They have a cool public network status page, which shows pretty good uptime figures. Since the last time we’ve featured them, they’ve done an overhaul of their website. The new one looks pretty good, if I may say so. As always, please share your experiences with us in the comments or at LowEndTalk.com!

    • Most providers will send password in plain text, you just need to change the password after that.

Lets be fair, first of all: they are very respectfull, but, im getting disappoint of service, there is no other way to communicate, but only ticket, and ticketing system also fails or they dont answer quickly

It’s a great deal, but I also found their ticket response lagging and overall they were unable to fix an issue. In the end, I canceled after a few days.

So far I can’t recommend them. I ordered yesterday, and my VPS is still pending because they ran out of IPv4 adresses… I was told in a ticket that the delay would only be 3-4 hours. I’m going to cancel this one.

slow answering of tickets, suffering constant downtime or disconnects, not what i would call reliable service

Do not use ReverseHosts. I currently have a VPS with them and have frequently had outages that extend beyond 48 hours with 0 communication, and no support.

Well, I got some issues on my VPS2048: I filed a ticket, I got moved to another node really fast, but then some issue with the migration made my VPS mostly offline. I opened another ticket, and while it took some days to get that solved it did get solved; now my VPS works nicely; we’ll see how it performs in the long term.

From my personal experience I can say that it is a good deal and the TOS is quite relaxed, so if you don’t abuse that VPS will be a pleasure. It’s unmanaged and cheap, so don’t expect to get instant support every time, but you do get support (at least I did).

The worst VPS provider, he doesn’t answer the questions, significant down times, sometimes more them 80 hours, not acceptable, i’ve worked with alot VPS providers, and this one beats them all, really the worst. For him everything works, even with several lag, he says its everything ok.

I can only echo the sentiments of all the negative reviews here. My VPS has been down for four plus days now with zero response from the provider. Stay away.
