    • This brand is not currently VAT registered so VAT payable for UK or other EU clients. The price you see is the you pay.

  3. VAT are excluded while you fill your EU-outside address and checkout.
I have one KVM with them in their last promo. It has been really good and fast. My opion is: recommended (at least until now, I’ll wait and see)

I agree, I have a KVM 256MB and a XEN HVM 256MB with them and both perform very well. Except for a short downtime on the XEN a couple of weeks ago, everything been running fast and good (the KVM is a bit faster). Support seems good (only had some rDNS tickets).

      On the KVM:

What I always dislike with some LEB featured hosts is lack of any real contact infos. Anonymous whmcs contact form as only way to contact them somehow isn’t most conviencing for serious hosting. There is something in their domain whois but well.. that’s step too far in my opinion to find out who’s behind “company”.

I look at those things that way:

Unreliable anonymous hobbist host contact/info site example:
    https://secure.thehosthouse.co.uk/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=3

Reliable serious hosting business contact/info site example:

    • Hi,

Thanks for your comments / suggestions. There is plenty of information on our site about us and the company. This is just one of my brands. We now have around 15 VPS nodes, and through our other shared hosting brands host more than 5,000 Windows and Linux web sites. I don’t think that really makes us hobbist. We cater for clients with basic requirements and up to companies with multi-million pound annual revenues with custom dedicated server solutions. Yes we are small but we do offer a personalised service. You might want to see a few of our other posts here and the comments made which substantially are very positive.

I just expressed my opinion regarding my personal experiences and observations how many such “whmcs-only-fly-by-night-instant-hosts” come and go whole time. It’s not attack on you or your business, just my expressed thoughts that I wouldn’t ever host anything serious with host which can’t offer me any serious/REAL company.. or whatever info.

Would you be so kind to share with us few other your brands?

        • I appreciate the comments I receive and this is what to try to respond to. You probably evidence this from the changes we have made since March 2001 in adding many more services and templates for example including custom ISOs for example. Thehosthouse has been running since 2006 and I bought the company from the previous owner in November 2010. I have however been in the hosting industry since 2003.

You see… http://sipero.com/contact/ – there is only local address added but with that still way more conviencing than The Host House anonymous whmcs contact form. With sipero -like contact site I wouldn’t commented The Host House lack of any real infos. It’s not much but still.. it makes difference. Atleast for those which put some trust into their hosting provider. Thank you for your response – it’s clarified now.

A nice Premium rate phone number to rip people off too!

  6. I understand and accept your points. I will try to get further information added as you suggest. Thanks again.

  7. We don’t have a premium rate number just a lo-call 0844 or 870 number which in UK is a maximum £0.05 from a BT line so please tell me what you are referring to. If client is calling from outside the UK then it will cost the same as dialing a geographic number with most providers. Please explain what you mean?

    • NOTES ON DELETED COMMENTS

Stop trolling here over some trivial matter. LowEndBox has international readership and the majority do not care about the some telephone prefix in UK. Going down the road of abuse and personal attacks would only make yourself look bad on this forum.

  8. “£2.96/month for KVM VPS with 256MB memory, 16GB storage, 160GB/month data, in UK or in US (Scranton PA)” -> where is the offer? I can’t find any

I have been with them for a while now and would recommend it. I have been a WHT member and following this industry for a while now. (adilbhai). I opted with them as I had to use a custom ISO and use an asterisk box for VOIP.

The best part I like about them is that Jonathan is always willing to lend the helping hand even when its not his part.

Only downside, a bit priced high as compared to others on LEB.

    July 24, 2011 @ 2:47 pm | Reply
    • If you think our prices are high compared to other LEB providers then I think in general you are not comparing like for like. Please remember for example that with almost all of our servers we use RAID 10 and 1 Gbps uplinks. Mainly other providers don’t. You only need to compare the results posted under comments to realise that the performance figures are substantially better than most you’ll find on here.

  10. I absolutely love this provider. Although I am still not hosting anything serious on the box and just put it on monitoring (like I do with any other VPS from a new company). There are no issues, EVER. Yes there was a small incident with XEN but Jonathan was there to fix it with SolusLabs and updating me at the same time.

They are freakin’ awesome. Definitely recommended!!!!

same as asim. I’m with them a couple of months now and fully satisfied. Performance is great, uptime is great. I don’t host anything serious yet but if it continues this way it will become my main vps. BTW the upgrade/downgrade functions from whmcs are great, you get the recurring discount and you upgrade/downgrade whenever you want, only the things you want

NOTE : this must be the best vps (performance wise) I’ve got. 200+MB/s I/O, only one cpu core but performs better than my other vps with 4 and the network is great. Only time will tell if it’ll stay that way

  12. Thanks for the positive comments. We do try hard to exceed clients expectations and needs. We are very open to suggestions of what you would like to see. We have for example extended our available ISOs including a few customs ones to around 40 ISOs. Another LEB member has kindly volunteered to help clients to get the best out of FREEBSD.

  15. Although THH does not provide IPv6, but I see one IPv6 address from my box’s network interfaces. Also, Redstation UK supports native IPv6 too.
Wait to run it on my box, then.

    July 25, 2011 @ 1:24 pm | Reply
  16. Redstation UK is currently alpha/beta testing IPv6 and we have been allocated a /64 We have been able to assign IPv6 to IPs for VPSs but there do seem to be issues with getting these to work fully. Any client wanting a few IPv6 that is in the Restation DC feel free to make a request for these but at this time we are unable to provide support. It does seem that using HE with tunnel broker works fine.
