Just curious, you requested the domain to be registered and running business for at least 12 months at your Listing Criteria (http://www.lowendbox.com/wiki/listing-criteria), however nowdays you are posting some “new hosts”‘ offer – does it mean that requirement is no longer required?

  4. Regarding that page on wiki — it’s the criteria I use to put the provider on the wiki! Not that the wiki is maintained :)

As of posting the offers here on the blog, I do it when I see fit. I didn’t have time to dig the records regarding Tritnaha which is why I did not write much, but one particular thing I am interested to track is also how long it takes for those new providers to get into the dead pool :)

Btw there are plenty of providers with new domains featured here on this blog.

  8. @memo Why are you saying that over and over again? Do you have something to say about this host? please share

@LEA is doing a great job and I love this blog. I have it rss-subscribed and visit it 6-10 times a day. If @LEA is only to review the big companies then im pretty sure we wont be getting sweat deals and new ofers everyday.

    Keep up the good work!

@LEA: perhaps you should update the wiki so that it indicates that that page is the listing criteria for the wiki, not the main blog. (and yes, that was me trying to register if your logs show it.) memo and KLIKLI are hardly the first ones to be confused by it.

  12. This is one of the most unusually designed hosting websites I’ve seen in a while :P but it seems to work. Logo kinda bothers me though.

  14. Hello!

Just to ease everyone’s mind, we did not pay anything to get posted on LEB. As for the domain, we are indeed a very new company but we’ve worked together with both known and unknown providers. One of these providers being FanaticalVPS.

We thank LEB for posting our offers, and hope that you all enjoy our services.

    Best Regards,
    Charlie – Tritnaha

  15. Received an email from Charlie:

Last week we contacted you with an offer that was published on your website.

This time the news are not that good. Tritnaha will cease their operations due to personal reasons regarding health (Stroke, to be precise). We will offer any clients their money back without any questions, or first month free via Nick from FanaticalVPS. Our operations will permanently cease on October the 30th, all our current users have been notified and new users are unable to sign up.

But to help with any confusion regarding the latest offer posted on your site, I would appreciate it if you could publish a small note so that customers and LEB readers know what’s going on. We have no intentions of ripping people off or just disappearing off the net and entering your so-called “deadpool”, so that’s why I’m contacting you directly

    Thank You

    Kind Regards,

    Charlie Gustafsson

Well. Thanks to Charlie for contacting me earlier. But it sucks to sign up services from one-man band when “special circumstances” would bring down the whole “team”.

    • Hello LEB-Admin,

Yes, it does indeed suck. After talking with Nick, our partner from FanaticalVPS we’ve decided that it might just be the best to cease operations permanently as if we are going to provide a service for our customers, we also wish to do a good job. Our aim was to reply to tickets fast, help with any faulty setups and such, we cannot guarantee that kind of service anymore with one family member still in a medical ventilator.

We (Yes, it’s more people than just me) are truly sorry for this. We hope that we might be able to come back later under much better circumstances.

ALL customers will get their money back, and if we manage to miss someone they can just email me directly and we will sort it out.

      Thank You

  16. That was quick. Hope you recover soon Charlie. At least they aren’t dissapearing, I’d suggest everyone who wants a refund get in QUICK before they go offline at the end of the month!

    • Hello Hughesey,

All our clients will be refunded with no questions asked. If we however manage to miss any customer, they will be able to contact us later by email to resolve the matter.

We will be sending out both reminders and information about refunds later on.

  19. The news of the stroke does suck. I went through that when I was first starting back in ’99. Caused lots of problems. Got lucky though. Have some wonderful clients who stepped up.

I hope everybody is well soon. :)

I’d step up about taking over the box myself but we don’t provide VPS services.

  20. Hello,

I am posting an comment here just to let you know that we have begun to cease or operations, as we are currently unable to run our business “as it should”. It’s truly sorry that recent events had to lead us into this direction, but hopefully we will be back with better support and better crisis-management.

We wish to thank all our customers for staying with us, it’s been a great but short time. We wish you all the best!

All clients have now been refunded, and for clients who wish to switch hosts we have an outstanding offer from Nick at FanaticalVPS.

    Thank YOU, LEB-readers and VPS-maniacs.
