LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

VikingLayer VPS in 3 locations, starting from $21/year!

Radoslav from VikingLayer just sent us over a few really great offers for us to share with everyone. The VikingLayer brand is owned by drServer.net and these guys really work hard for their customers. They’re a small but agile company that are truly passionate about providing great services. They’ve been around since 2013 and this is the second offer we’ve posted from them.

Their WHOIS is public and you can find their ToS here and their AUP here.

They accept PayPal and Bitcoin.

I want to add that they have some really nice shared hosting offers that we just don’t have room to post, so if you’re looking for something, you should check out their offers on their drServer site.

Well, another “Hoster” that has a fraud protection that flags random real, honest users and does not replay to tickets (
Radoslav Petrov answered here questions at the same time).
Probably for using BitPay, which no reason at all, and yes, I have a clean real IP.
So I am stuck in ordering process, annoyed af and wasting my time. In 30 min I will just order somewhere else. If you hate customers do not open a business.

    • Your choice really. Your order was marked as fraud for a reason. I have given you another option for verification in ticket now.

If he paid with bitcoins, then after an hour has passed, the payment cannot be reversed. To accuse him of fraud at that point is just game-playing.

So they finally replayed with this:

“Hi. I will need photo of your ID card for verification. You can mask anything except name and address(if it is present on it). Once this is done, order will be approved. Please mail it to: radi@drserver.net and update the ticket.

    Best Regards,
    Radoslav Petrov”

As I am from Germany – and I have registered with a German adress – this is actually against the law. You are not allowed to scan ID cards nor to ask for scans.

    So, no thanks..

Photo of id-card? Great idea! First of all, it can be easily faked and if real, it can be even easier misused…

I am not a lawyer, so I can’t know the German law. We are also not registered in Germany.
Nevertheless, I offered you phone verification as well, you never bothered to reply to the ticket.

      @Jarry
I asked for photo of ID card with everything masked, except the address (if it is present) and the name. This is just needed to verify the user’s address and name truly matches what was given, during signup.

it is a lie that German Law forbids sending ID scan for verification. In fact, a lot of companies that are do job in Germany, do require even for legal reasons a scan of an ID (a good example is airbnb that you have to upload your ID to become a hoster). So, don’t use face claims just to bash a provider.
As of their system marked you as fraud, it is better for a hosting company to lose a client of 2-3€ per month, than regret it later with fraudulent from this “client”. Besides, if you don’t trust them sendinf a masked ID, why should they trust you? You are nobody to them (without verification) the same time they are a registered company with offices, employs and good reputation.

I bought a VPS in Sweden last Saturday. The box is usually extremely fast, bandwidth is excellent, but sometimes it get stuck. Load spikes to 2.5 without a reason (as top won’t show any cpu consuming process) and for a range which can span from 3 to 8 minutes the server is dead slow.
I ran into this kind of overload at least twice while installing, but 95% of the time the VPS is very responsive.

Hi. are your email servers able to send emails securely into outlook.com/live.com etc MS email ? after i sent payment (yesterday), your system allowed to configure, i setup rDNS for the allotted IPv4, but once i set rDNS for one IPv6 address, your window expanded beyond right side border and i could not set anymore rDNS for IPv6, so sent you a support ticket for that. today, your system showing something is not right during login ! so i tried to reset-pass, it shows it has sent pass-reset email, but MS email’s Spam/Trash both are empty ! Please check whats going on, Thanks. I sent mesg to your Sales dept. to forward/pass/send mesg into your Support, so far no respond. My order is 7122772847. –Terik.

VPS op/rep Radoslav Petrov has communicated (around 12 hours ago), issues are now solved, drServerNet control-panel working fine :) THANKS.

adding two different email contacts into VikingLayer allowed me to receive (at-least one) message/email into my Outlook email-address, from VikingLayer/DrServerNet’s wh…@vikinglayer.com email. Btw, i also had to add that wh…@vikinglayer.com into Outlook’s “Safe Senders” list, to prevent it from going into Spam folder.
