Is it real eight (8) E3-1271 v3 processors in one server? Basically i have seen 2/4 node servers using 4-8x E5 or 5000-7000 series processors. But, never seen to be used E3. :O
8 threads it means, E3 series is only compatible with 1 CPU per server.
How do you fit 64gb of ram into an e3 v3?
http://ark.intel.com/products/80908/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1271-v3-8M-Cache-3_60-GHz MAX 32gb))))
I know, thats why I asked.
Also, the order page states raid-1. Why are there 4 drives in a server if you’re running it raid1?
Hetzner’s E3-1271V3 plan has 32GB RAM, 2-4 Enterprise HDDs and upto 2 SSDs with or without 2xHDDs.
I believe that VPS.Cool trying attract clients by showing fake server configuration.
sounds bad :(
@Bullshit is right, E3-1271V3 supports maximum 32GB RAM and the Hetzner’s servers equipped with E3-1271V3 has up to 2 SSD drives per node. The reason posting 64GB RAM and 4 x SSDs was misunderstanding from my side that this information is related to the whole cluster not to the specific node ( in the time of sending the post two identical servers with E3-1271V3,32GB RAM and 2x480SSDs were available both in raid1). I have opened ticket to LEB staff with the request to correct node specs and would like to excuse to all LEB members for the incorrect information. I claim that all this was not done with the goal of attracting new clients but by mistake.
You don’t know the basic things, why are in this business?
This link to order is going to a page that is only offer the config for $4 a month, not $2.
Use the coupon dude

Nice offer I will try it, it is exactly what I was looking for.
Right now when I was about to order a server you fucked up the site (Minimum doesn’t show configuration anymore, Advanced shows them for both server) and you also increased the prices for additional stuff like IP addresses.
No thank you. Think I rather stick to the trustworthy providers a little longer.
Now they also removed the recurring discount and made it a one-time discount. Where’s the mentioned $2 server anymore? Why the second price increase in just a few days? Why the wrong information about the host node? This offer should be removed from LEB.
Hi,
Is the coupon vpscool50%off applied perpetually or for the first month only?
It is not recurring. I was going to order one year and it said the sale price for the first year and then regular price every year after that.
Coincidently meet this post when watching TV. Keep posting very interesting post like that!
Nice offer I will try it, it is exactly what I was looking for.
erm,
the coupon doesnt work for me anymore, not even for 1 year =/
Can enable ipv6
How come this is advertised as – 8x lntel Xeon CPU E3-1271 v3 @ 3.60GHz but when I do “lscpu” I find out it’s actually just a AMD Opteron 4334?
In the time when this offer was posted we had available only E3-1271 servers. Later on we added more servers equipped with E3-1271, E3-1246, E5-1620v2 and AMD Opteron 4334. Sorry that you have misled from our offer. If you are not satisfied from this CPU please let us know and we will migrate your VPS to E3-1271 v3.
Yesterday I purchased VPS Minimum Linux KVM VPS but until now its still on PENDING mode, I already sent 2x ticket but still no reply, I have read there KNOWLEDGEBASE and it tells there that: (We will try our best to answer your ticket as soon as possible. We maintain an average response time of ~30 minutes.) But until now there is no reply.. :(
Hi Glenn. We already answered to your ticket and also explained why your VPS was on “PENDING” ( in 13hrs after first ticket and 1hr after your second ticket). We are doing our best to answer/fix any request in not more than 30 minutes but unfortunately it is not possible in 100% of the tickets. Sorry once again.
