I’m thinking maybe they’re combining CPU cores as “one core” with the speed

        that’s not possible.

they are liars or completely clueless. apparently they even offer 23Ghz vps’es

It may be a weird way of presenting it, but it is clearly the sum of the x GHz across all cores. Which is stated clearly in the FAQ.

And that’s based on…? Because certainly there can be only one VPS provider in LT?
Heck even the simplest traceroute leads to very different destinations to this IP, compared to time4vps.

Trace the test ips, not the site ips.

t4vps provides 109.235.64.1 as test ip, allocated to UAB Technologiju ir inovaciju centras,
        vpsnet provides the same one.
And they (time4vps) seems to be part of serveriai.lt, as stated here http://www.time4vps.eu/about-us.php

Not sure about their DC, but their services suck, you can search https://uzdarbis.lt/ for threads, but they will be in Lithuanian, comments are almost always negative as every complain seems to be about their stability, if you want 95% uptime max, go for it.

Currently trying out the 1,5GB RAM Vps to host a Ruby On Rails app. Really awesome that you can trade out storage and CPU speed on favour of RAM size. Trying to set up my server using docker, which did not work out of the box. Talked to the support, which was very service minded, and after 2,5h of fiddling with the network interfaces and OpenVZ flags we got it to work. Now they are patching all of the VPSes with this, and adding a special image for Docker setups. Awesome!

This providers is same as iv.lt and they provide full crap, not recommend this VPS, no antiddos protection etc. so your vps can have 5% uptime, because on ddos they just block all traffic outside Lithuania and that is all protection, you just loose clients.

If you need DDoS protection buy antiDDoS services (OVH or smth). They are not claiming what have antiDDoS abroad, so don’t offtopic about uptime

Using their services around half of year mainly for VPN purposes.
Uptime ~95%. Very often VPN drops connection for about a min or two.
