Im in the UK and I get a ping of 80ms, not bad.

But I wonder, when I make an order and completed the payment for their promotion VPS ( http://www.citynethost.com/vps104offer.asp), my money suddenly being refunded without any explanation.

My transaction is not fraud, altough it is high risk to accept order from Indonesia, I can guarantee that any payment I made is using my own Paypal ballance / my Credit Card.
I’ve purchasing VPS’es from QuickWeb, 123System, 2Host, Nordic, NewWebsite, etc, and altough my order were marked asfraud, they still process it.
But, maybe I will contact your billing departement later :)

Why do people here prefer XEN?
I have a better experience with openVZ ( with good hosts atleast ) than with XEN.
@ZTEC: openVZ have problem with IPv6 in IPv4.
It is possible to use IPv6 tunnel on OpenVZ.

that’s a speed test done on my VPS from CityNetHost (it’s 512Mb OpenVZ one):
imvho it performs *really* well for its price… I got it from a few days, without problems (running it as a 2nd VPS, 1st one is a “low end box” too but located in USA, ramhost.us).
Another speed test of my CityNetHost OpenVZ 512Mb VPS (may be very important for users in Poland, GTS Energis is best businness ISP here):

Well i signed up for their previous offer. And after one month i can easily say that they dont offer what they commit. Their boxes are overloaded. Processes get killed even before limit of guaranteed ram , what to talk of Burst Ram. In short you get what you pay for. So if you want something even remotely serious to host , they are not advisable.
Well Just an update. I took up the issue with CitynetHost and Mtalaat has fixed the issue. Support and response time was excellent.

Where does the time fly?
I just canceled my Xen account with this provider. I had ordered a Debian system. It took a couple of days for them to install an actual debian system on the node (before I was provided twice with CentOS and a Debian system that would not boot). Finally, the debian system proved to be not very usable. The installed kernel could not be changed and would only load modules signed by the provider. However, the /lib/modules directory was missing, so there was no loop module and no iptables. The provider didn’t want to provide me with a signed set of standard modules, so for every module I would have to open a support ticket. Besides they refused to provide a loop module at all. They would not explain the reason for that (on Xen I don’t see a possible reason, but maybe I’m mistaken here).
Finally I decided to invoke their 30 days money back program and they paid back the 3 USD immediately.
My xen VPS on Node4 has been down since 6 hours ago, anyone experience the same or it’s just me?
VPS still down since yesterday, and they are not responding to support ticket.
Finally received a response asking me to check whether my VPS is up. Apparently they had a power control panel failure, which they mentioned in the other LEB post (http://www.lowendbox.com/blog/citynethost-2-5-512mb-openvz-vps-in-egypt/#comment-11650).
DOS Attack on some of our VPS Nodes detected. Service is normal now.

Down again, again, and now they’re denying I was ever a customer, despite having paid (for a Xen VM) for a year, in August. Joy.

Avoid these joke artists, placed my order, they would never respond to your tickets, will close it without even care to respond, will set the order for pending forever and at the end mark it as fraud and never refund you, i dispute it on paypal, its a crappy service without even deliver, glad i didnt it buy it yearly.
