Martin from All Simple Internet Services emailed me their new year exclusive offers to LowEndBox readers. Use the following link to order “LowEndBox Small” VPS for £4.40/month (~$6.80 USD), or £48.80/year. It has the following spec
- 512MB memory/512MB swap
- 10GB storage
- 200GB/month data transfer
- Xen
The sign up link should bring you to a page to fill out just the hostname + root password (not sure why so many providers still requiring filling out a domain name and ns1 + ns2 for a VPS order). OS choices include Debian 5, Ubuntu 8.04, Ubuntu 10.04, CentOS 5, and — get this — LowEndBox light weight WordPress install on Debian Lenny! Just deploy and you get a WordPress blog ready to go, optimized for low end box! Not mention that 512MB of memory is nowhere near “small”.
AllSimple.net has their servers with BlueSquare in UK. Test IP + download files available from previous post. They have now been around for a year now.

If you open a sales ticket with us the for the exact requirements, I’m sure we can find a price for you.

Another cheap Xen VPS monster
cheap xen again wow
It’s WHMCS that still wants ns1 and ns2
That’s right. If you choose “VPS/Dedicated Server” as product type, then these two boxes were displayed as defined in their template.
I’ve seen some instances where ns1/ns2/domain name is not required by WHMCS. I guess the provider took the time to configure it correctly for VPS orders. Why can’t others do?
That’s right. They should be able to create a hidden field to replace the two boxes in
$WHMCSPATH/templates/orderforms/configureproduct.tpl
It should be
$WHMCSPATH/templates/orderforms/$ORDERFORMTEMPLATE/configureproduct.tpl
instead.
@KLIKLI :
Thank you for sharing this.
Maybe I will try this to my WHMCS.
Just change it into the following and it should be fixed ;)
<input name="ns1prefix" size="1" value="N/A" type="hidden"/>
<input name="ns2prefix" size="1" value="N/A" type="hidden"/>
It is a default field and as far as i know can’t be removed from WHMCS because it is there for ordering webhosting.
@Roel :
Thank you for sharing :)
When providers ask for ns1 and ns2, I just simply enter *
These guys are very good, use them if your looking for a uk vps, one of the best providers i’ve used.
Signed up with them a couple of weeks ago, they have to be one of the best cheap vps providers!
Box is nice and responsive and can consistantly max out the 100mbit connection. From liverpool UK ping times are around the 1.2ms mark.
IO is quite good about 30MB/s using dd. IO wait seems to be non existant aswell which is a major plus!
Haven’t had a chance to truly test uptime yet although haven’t had any trouble, there seems to be a very generous refund policy relating to downtime! (I think it can be found in the TOS)
Nice set of additional extras, 4 free nameservers and free backup storage accessable through scp / ftp.
Had a bit of trouble setting up the name servers and backup storage, although Martin seems to be able to rectify problems / support tickets at speeds comparable to having a conversation with someone using IM! Deffinately the best support I’ve had out of any of the low end box providers!

There seems to be an issue with your ordering system rejecting any hostname
The order system will allow just a single word hostname, in lower case between 3-10 characters.
Ah, must have used a hostname which was to short when I tried it before. Thanks
Got one with Martin’s previous offer at LEB http://www.lowendbox.com/blog/allsimple-15-gbpyear-128mb-xen-vps-in-uk/ , but I haven’t fully utilized it.
However, this one might be my flagship in UK, for it stability and responsiveness.
Thanks for all the kind words.
Unfortunately due to some hardware issues and in the interest of our current customers, we’re not going to be able to offer any more of these VPSs for the next week, I’ll update this once we are able to offer more.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
please inform us when u will offer more VPS ?
thanks
We hope to have more available on Monday 24th January, we will update this post as soon as we do.
Thanks
Signed up during this offer, and I am pleasantly surprised by their willingness to help & support my requirements for my VPS, given that I’m hardly the most profitable VPS on the server and not paying for managed admin.
Early days but looks very good so far.
We are now accepting further orders, we would like to thank people who have been waiting for their patience.
I ordered one, but I realise it didn’t have SolusVM, which I do actually need (API Access), I submitted a ticket and got a refund in 5 minutes.
I highly recommend they switch to SolusVM instead of their own system, its pretty much an industry standard now.
SolusVM is just common in the budget VPS industry…
Thanks for the feedback, but we’re highly unlikely to switch to SolusVM any time soon.
Can I ask why :)
Last time I checked SolusVM only supported CentOS for the nodes, we’re using Debian and don’t plan to change this.
We’re happy that most things can be done from within our single client area. :)
Yeh it only supports CentOS, but CentOS is pretty much the mainly used server OS out there.
Not really. None of my production stuff runs CentOS.
Major hosts like Dreamhost runs all Debian.
Does anybody have a VPS from both All Simple and VooServers ?
I am just wondering how they compare as both have decent reviews.
I’ve been with them since last November 1020 on their leb15pound package, and I am a happy customer. They have good uptime and Martin is very helpful.
Even when they move to a new data center, the process was smoothly delivered without any downtime.
What the hell? This post is from January. It just got bumped or sth like that o_O
This is the current offer :S http://www.lowendbox.com/blog/all-simple-4-40-384mb-xen-vps-in-uk/
It seems this got bumped after the latest one appeared this morning.
