Cenk, from FlipperHost, is back with some more exclusive offers for LowEndBox. The main differences from their last offer is the fact prices have been lowered and that for your $7 you can get 512MB more ram!

FlipperHost are by no means new to LowEndBox, as we have featured them regularly since 2011. Their last offer was posted in February and it was for a $6.95/Month 1024MB OpenVZ VPS in Texas, Florida & LA. We are told that stock is limited, and like last time, no coupon codes are required. I’ve just read over their last post, and there doesn’t seem to be a bad word to say about them. The generous allocation of diskspace, and bandwidth, will certainly come in handy if you require a lot of diskspace for a low price.
FlipperHost accept payments via PayPal and, recently added, 2CheckOut (all major credit cards can be accepted through 2CheckOut / Paypal). Whilst FlipperHost offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee, they don’t offer any money-back guarantees. All VPS and setup instantly and they’re willing to install Kloxo and Webmin control panels for free (by ticket or live chat request). For more information, take a look at their Terms.

“FlipperHost are by no means knew to LowEndBox”
replace ‘knew’ with ‘new’.
Just swapped ;-) Thanks.
They kept powering down my vps claiming I was DDOS attacking someone…
“1500 concurrent connections at most per VPS”
Not recommended if you have an application with lots of connections. Ours was a REST API endpoint.
I track each and every ticket so I know about your case which you had 3200+ concurrent connections and nowhere around 1500 which effected other vps s within same node which we could not tolerate thus left us with no choice but to power down your vps time to time for you to be able to tweak your vps.

Ceko
I run the same endpoint application with the same traffic on various other vps providers. Flipperhost is the only provider with such a limitation that I know of.
The “1500 concurrent connections at most per VPS” is a quote from the email you sent me.
Well, I have only cleared up that your vps had 3200+ connections. On the other hand you are right about that we consider thousands of concurrent sustained connections as abuse.

Ceko, can you explain why would this effect other vps’s on the same node? I run a different kind of service that is also connection heavy and I don’t want to start seeing providers claim that a lot of legit connections is somehow abuse.
All the IPs are in our host node and all goes through same gateway IP, so if the network has huge number of connections say like if it reached more than 20K connections then the performance of our node will be effected which then will effect IO performance in our hostnode, which as a result will affect other client’s VPSes performance within the same host node.
If the connections reached 50K then the host node will become unstable, then even logging into the host node will be laggy, the only solution (temporary one) will be to reboot the host node, which will not let us execute the 99.9% uptime guarantee. This is why we consider and will continue to consider thousands of sustained concurrent connections as abuse and we are glad to know our rivals do not think as we do. We are responsible for keeping our nodes online and stable and thats what we do.

You can’t make a one time payment for monthly invoices.
You have to create a subscription to make a monthly payment. That is their “policy”.
Hello, that is not true, it is not our policy by no means to force customers subscribe, you should be able to make one time payment and you do not need to subscribe. If you face the opposite anywhere please give us details by a support ticket or live chat and we will fix it.

Sorry. It seems I got confused with a similar named host.
Whatever I said regarding flipperhost above is not true and I apologize for the mistake.
Thanks for the clarification.

We would like to thank Zahra and the LowEndBox team for working on our offer and posting it.

I have two boxes from Flipperhost for several months. Till now so far so good. I have another 2 from other providers, but none of them are as stable as Flipperhost.
I hosted several high BW websites (2G/per day) on one of the box and a forum (300 ip/per day) on the other. Performance is very stable and support is amazing.
I’m considering upgrade to Promo3, nice offer.
I would support the limitation of concurrent connections as I want to be in a stable node.
My only question is if I want to move my box to another node, can I keep my current IP?
Thanks!
Hello Aiur,
First of all thank you for sharing your positive experiences.
About your question, although all customers are entitled a node or location change free of charge, no matter what their reason is, the IP will need to be changed as well once the node or the location has changed.

LA and FL test downloads are down.
Test files fixed.

Nice :)
BTW, could I limit HDD to 50GB and bandwidth to 1TB to gain 512MB extra memory for LEBPromo3?
Well, could be possible though you better open a ticket with us so that we can follow up with your request.
