According to their website, 9xhost’s servers are using ‘Enterprise Hardware with Hot-Swap’ which includes a Intel Xeon E3-1230V2 CPU, 8 GB DDR3 RAM. The node is also equipped with CISCO GUARD DDoS ‘protection’. You may have seen their representative on WebHostingTalk under the ‘public_html’ account. If you have any experience with this host, please leave your feedback below.

9xhost provide a 99.9% ‘Website’ Uptime Guarantee. We are told that CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu and Fedora are all available. Their website lists many different payment options including Paypal. 9xHost maintain a small knowledgebase which you may find useful. More information can be found in their Terms of Service.

  1. The order page appears messed up on Firefox and gives an SSL certificate error on Chrome.

  3. Had a vps with them from sept 2012.

In short, i paid them for 6 months in advance. After 20-30 days they told me that the datacenter has suspended their servers and hence they are moving to new datacenter. After sending numerous ticktes their response was “we are in the process of backing up of data and it will take 24 hours to reprovision another vps”. They keep on telling this for another 15-20 days. In between their ticketing system changed 3-4 times(zen, kayako, etc..) After that i reqeuested the refund. Still now they did’nt refund. Am so fed up with the people that i stopped sending emails asking for refunds. Seeing their post in the lowendbox i thought i will explain what has happened to me, so it may help others.

I have talked to this sanjiv, Usman and others. Be careful when dealing with these guyz.

I would never use or recommend 9xhost.
Baddest company ever where I’ve been a client.
    Very unprofessional.

Stay away from them. I had the vps disconnected for almost two hours, and had to ask for a full refund. Really poor service.
