Community provider al.uy posted a pretty neat offer on LowEndTalk yesterday.
Instead of a pre-configured bundle of resources (CPU, RAM, etc.), they’ve opened up the knobs and dials and let you get as much or as little of each resource as you want.
Want 1 core with 16GB of RAM and 80GB of disk? You can do that. Want 16 cores, 4GB or RAM, and 10GB of disk? You can do that too! You’ve got full control to spec out the CPU, RAM, disk, and number of IPv4 addresses (up to 24!)
Service is in the Netherlands, UK, or Switzerland.

1. it is just one person Julian from Bavaria, there is no support team and he mix himself in security of servers instead that we do it by ourselves and keep our privacy. and his peeringbg says contrary: privacy, anonimity and free speech, well, Julian is controling servers and there is no privacy and anonimity:
– anonimity and privacy from his ToS: We do not provide services to sanctioned persons/entities or comprehensively sanctioned regions, and users must comply with all applicable export controls and sanctions laws…..We may require identity or business verification for regulatory compliance and security purposes.
plus delay to get server while others give server automatically after payment: VPS typically within 24 hours after payment verification; dedicated 24–72h subject to stock. Identity verification may be required.
2. He avoid to pay taxes (Not VAT registered (Kleinunternehmer §19 UStG)) and gives contrary information: jurisdiction court Munich, and he owns company registered in dec 2024: Iwakura LTD, UK, company number 16135688, SIC: 63110 – Data processing, hosting and related activities…it means court in London is authorized and not in Munich, Bavaria.
2. he can not compare with long existing and cheaper companies from germany who have teams for support and many years servers, it means they will not disappear tomorrow and close business: contabo and yes hetzner from germany, they are cheaper + more professional and we can buy from them.
he bought 1280 IP4V: Mar 17, 2025 and company in UK is registered in dec 2024, and hosting domain 10 bucks UY (hostingenlaweb dot com) is registred 24.feb. 2025, it means he is fresh in business and he can not be trusted like long companies that exist many years and have money to pay taxes and they will have server biz many years.
3. contabo let people to do with server whatever they want as long as there is no abuse complaint, and they don’t have politics in business like ai.uy about sanctioned people/countries by USA.
I must remind you that blind following the law means following like robot without brain any government, including hitler, pinoche, saddam hussein, and modern legal governments that break human rights and especilly privacy: massive surveillance in the USA and in qatar lawyers have no right to see documents of cops and prosecutors against their clients. human rights are broken by many legally chosen and ruling governments and Julian is typical german who folow the law without objection and that’s againt privacy and human rights. here is his contradictory low level of understanding of privacy, anonimity and free speech, from his peeringBG dot com slash net slash 28298:
